Hole 1: Par-4, 387. Good looking hole, distinguished by its gently bending fairway and big greenside bunker (hidden from view here). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

Hole 3: Par-4, 415: Tough driving hole where a pond awaits sliced or pushed approach shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

The sixth. Number 1 index. Why so hard? The brook forces most to hit 3-wood from the tee, and it’s 575 yards long. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

The course was in excellent condition except the rough had to many dead grass areas. The ball always settled in these areas yielding poor lies. Fairways would have been perfect without the many divots left by previous "golfers". Greens were excellent.
Safari Adventure
Oak Ridge was in great shape...the greens were quick... with approximately 130 golfers the pace was good...no hold ups...
This is a Safari destination golf course... overall an enjoyable day!
Worth trying
I played this course with the Safari Club recently. I thought the layout was interesting, and the greens were nice. My major issue with the course were the womens' tee boxes. Many were moved up from the "real tee box" and just randomly planted somewhere. It may make the course shorter for some women, but is a real disadvantage to women who want a "real" tee box. The staff in the bar area were very friendly and efficient.
Just looking for a good time and a good value?
Oak Ridge should be your choice. They're competitively priced and as good a value as you're going to find in the lower Pioneer Valley. If you like a well manicured and fun golf course that offeres the everyday golfer just enough challenge, then Oak Ridge should be your choice. That's probably why the Safari Club of Golf goes there every year and has done so for over a decade now ad will continue to in the future.
Enjoyable course
Played here last week with the Safari Club. Course was in very nice condition. Fairways and greens were excellent. Tee boxes were a little beat up, but still playable. Interesting layout and pace of play was excellent -- given that we had about 110 players. Would definitely play again.
A Safari Club Favorite
Long time favorite. Great track well maintained and fun to play.
Safari Club Outing
And a good time was had by all. Course was in good shape. The greens were a bit slow. But hitting to them the ball would run off the back. All in all it was a good day.
Good value for the price
Played the course yesterday with the Safari Club and enjoyed the experience. Course was in good shape, had some challenging holes but was fair to all levels of golf ability. A plus was the friendly staff both on and off the course.

Today the Safari Golf Club played at Oak Ridge and we had a super time. We started on the 6th hole and made a 32-foot putt for a 3 on the par five. We shot 3 over for the round. Had a super day of golf. The staff was super and the food staff could not have been kinder. A super group of people. The greens were in super shape and the overall course was in excellent shape.
Great little course
I had a great time. Course was in great shape. Challenging for it's length.
Play Oakridge. You'll enjoy it.
Great value
This was my first time playing this course. I really enjoyed all aspects of it. I found it to be in great shape and liked the different challenges without losing the playability. Great course for the money. I would definitely play here again.
Awesome practice round course
I've played Oak Ridge many times. A lot of variety and in reasonably good shape. Outstanding value. Comfortable "19th hole" with huge beer selection and great prices on food. The course does have some spots that aren't totally 'in season' ready but typical for the status of most courses in New England.
Oak Ridge Sub Par
Conditions were not great, which is what I expect at this course. Greens were aerated and bumpy, and fairways were in poor condition. The grounds look neglected.
If you have 7 hrs to play
They schedule to many golfers. There were 5 somes playing in front of us. It took 6+ hours to play the round.
This course has deteriorated quickly
I have played this course literally 100s of times and have never seen it in worse shape. The staff was unpleasant and almost rude! No apology for the 40 minute delay and ungodly slow play in fact almost like we should have felt lucky they let us play at all! The starter was most unpleasant I've seen in over 40 years of playing! I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AND SPEND 1 MORE PENNY THERE! Good luck to them
Cold Day but a great round
This is one of my favorites. Great course and good condition due to the time of year. Definitely recommend this course to anyone. Well worth it
