South Shore Country Club

I always enjoy playing here! Great layout and always in proper shape. Can’t ask for much more from this challenging course.

South Shore Country club is a great layout for the amateur through the every day player. You need to hit fairways off the tee box ,even hitting fairways still requires an accurate second shot to very difficult greens . Greens were slow this time, but very well kept, considering it is late October. I have played this course many times and have always had to use every club in my bag. Very true reading greens all types of undulations . To play well here this course requires steady course management before hitting any tee shot. I would recommend this course to any level player especially to the low handicappers to see if they can shoot their handicaps that they bring from other courses.

Cannot go wrong playing this course tee box to greens are in great shape except for one Hole 15 Teebox in very bad shape

Good round but a little slow... Twosome ahead finished 9 and pace picked up.... Some holes were deceiving since hazards were not readily visible.

Course was in really good shape, and the greens were fast. Definitely an underrated course in the Boston area.

I liked the course, but I wouldn't want to walk it. There were hills on many of the holes, which isn't ideal. The course was nice and green.

SSCC is a good challenge but still very fair. Nice layout, good shape.

We find South Shore Country Club as a very difficult layout for the amateur golf at the course is in great shape the greens are perfect and it is quite a test for even a single digit handicap I play a lot of golf,& in this is one of my favorite tracks very challenging staff are friendly

Greens are fast and true... rest of course is in good shape... give yourself time as the back nine plays about a half hour slower than the front

Course in great shape. Bunkers and greens especially. New carts too. Cart paths could use some work. 2 dogs and 2 beers at the turn way too expensive at over $20. Pace of play no issue. Will revisit and recommend to friends.

Course was in great shape. Hilly course with a few blind shots. Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable.

Played on a Sunday afternoon as a single. Booked through GolfNow and there was apparently some over-booking happening. I ended up waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled tee time to get out. Then it was slow going, until we were able to get by a slow group at the turn. (probably 2:30 for the front, and 1:40 for the back)

It was blazing hot, but the course was in great shape and the breeze kept it tolerable. If you're walking be prepared for some hills... lots of up and down.. Between the heat and the hills, I was exhausted by the time I finished.

I played South Shore Country Club yesterday and I had an awesome experience. I found a great deal on GolfNow for $22 for walking, could not turn it down. The weather was questionable at my tee time, and the pro shop attendant was very fair saying, if I started and the weather went bad, he would give me a full refund or rain check. Weather ended up being great! Course was in great shape, greens were perfect! Lots of great holes out there and a lot of fun to play. Great for all skill levels. I would definitely recommend.

Course is in great shape. I bought a hot deal on Golfnow and walked which is somewhat challenging with the hills. Greens were fast and very true..A great value and ask for Mike if you need a lesson

interesting course, kind of layout you have to play more than once to understand ,where to hit the ball ,and where not to. Enjoyable day played with two members, great time!!
