Great course
I live in town and love this course. Greens are perfect, fairways wide and also perfect. No on course snack cart. Window for snacks closes at 4 so u have to ho into bar to get during or snack and it can be time consuming if bar is busy. Restaurant not open every night but lunch served daily. Expensive even though I live in town.
Great Course
The course was in great shape. Got a great deal through Golfnow. The front 9 was a little slow due to a league. It got to play the back 9 solo. The course is fun and challenging due to the bunker layout. I highly recommend it.
Miacomet late august
Great experience. Course was interesting and well kept. Facilities were beautiful. Next time I’m on Nantucket will try to play multiple rounds.
Pro Shop
The girls behind the desk weren’t accommodating. Tee times were incorrect and no willingness to help w another date or time. You expect more when you spend $1100 for a foursome.
Miacomet - Awesome Experience
Miacomet is a true gem! If you enjoy seaside links , immaculate conditions, and a real challenge, be sure to play it!
Charges
I signed up on Golf Now for a “Special” deal. $100/person for 2golfers for 9 holes. When I checked in I was told it was $150/person and that Golf Now had exceeded its allotted tee times. I had to pay an extra $100, which I feel Golf Now owes me.
Always a challenge
Miacomet is always a challenge. The greens typically run at 12-13 on the Stimp. Because it is on an island the wind is usually a factor. Fairways are generous but the wind and plenty of receptive bunkering keep your attention. I have played Miacomet since it was only a nine holer and have always enjoyed it. It has now become very pricey and difficult to get a tee time. Nothing like success!
Elite Public Course
Miacomet is always on point. Greens were lightning (in a good way) and the overall conditions were amazing. Only critique is the price point, but that’s Nantucket for you.
Seaside? It's no where near the sea!!!!
