Deteriating conditions
I’m always amazed on how much we pay to play this course. My wife unfortunately likes it, the starter and the snack shack.
Great Golf
Fantastic track and outstanding staff. Conditions were spectacular..
Nice course
Since it had been raining, it was cart path only - lots of walking
GPS Nuisance
The course is great and the clubhouse amenities are excellent, but unfortunately the GPS restrictions on the carts are very annoying. I have played this course for several years and it seems that the restrictions have been dialed up making it even more of a nuisance to get to your ball if it is not in the fairway. I don't think that this is helping the pace of play and I believe that someone should take a look at the restrictions and see if the severity that exists is really needed. Thank you.
Love the elevation changes
1st time playing the course and really enjoyed it. Nobody in front or back holding us up or pushing us. Great staff and lunch afterwards on the terrace.
Highly recommend
I've been trying to get to this place for 2 years. Finally did it and regret waiting so long! Place is absolutely gorgeous! Reflecting on it for a day I realize that the course isn't really all that challenges (says the man who shot a 95), it's pretty straightforward! And I don't mean that in a bad way, just saying that for an average golfer, it's very forgiving and only as hard as you make it. I must've gone on the right day because throughout 18 holes, I may have seen 3 other groups in different areas. Pace of play was that of a chilly Fall day! Loved it! Staff was really good, beyond helpful. So much so that I injured about playing another 18. Only issue I had was that there were some dry patches throughout the course but certainly not enough to deter me from recommending it or, playing it again at the drop of a dime! The greens ran around an 8 out of 10 (speed wise}. Traps were good. Nothing bad to say about the place. I was surprised to see in the back of my cart were 2 small buckets of balls to hit the range with. The range is on the way to the 1st tee which I thought was pretty nice. And it was like hitting off of a cliff in Colorado or something. Highly elevated, beautiful in its own way. Great place. Absolutely 5 Stars from a person who literally plays the game EVERY DAY!
07/09/24. Foursome seniors White Tee’s
Only complaint was the severity of the greens.
Lots of 3 putts on tricky breaking slick greens.
Last 4 holes lived up to their “Heart Break Hill” reputation on a humid 93 degree day.
Nice course…will play again.
Awesome facility friendly staff and course conditions are top-notch we play at least once twice a month definitely recommend
Overpriced
Doesn’t look like the mgmt team has put any money into the course since it opened. The cart paths look like they’ve been bombed, they need some serious improvement. Also, the Grille is closed on Mondays & I believe on Tuesday’s also, so if you want something to eat make other plans after the round.
PACE
Course was fun and challenging. The rolling greens and fairways were fun. The only criticism, Do NOT let players walk. Carts only.
Price and Experience mismatch
Waverly is a nicely designed course that's maintained well enough but for the cost, it doesn't pencil out. Rangers don't enforce pace of play, no water on the course, and a nebulous clubhouse experience. There are better options and value elsewhere

Hi thanks for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear you liked the course. We have two rangers on everyday to help enforce pace of play. Our target pace is 4.5 hour rounds. We work hard to hit that target, especially on very busy days, but doesn't mean we always hit the mark. We appreciate the feedback and we'll take all this in to consideration. We hope to see you again.
