Long and Hard, Just the way I like it
Challenging, lots of long narrow par 4s.
Greens were quick, lots of hazards.
Be sure to bring a bunch of balls. Would play again.

Excellent layout, true greens, well maintained, friendly staff, 4 hour midweek round - just a great experience. Well worth playing and good value for money.
Great Experience at Segregansett
Played with a friend today at Segregansett. Teed off as scheduled and never waited one one shot the whole round. Was told by member the busiest weekdays are Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays...so Wednesdays and Friday look good! Price was phenomenal and the course was in terrific shape. Fairways were plush, greens were fast but true due to dry conditions. Enough challenges to keep you honest and make you think! Will definitely play Segregansett again! Members at the bar in the clubhouse after the round were friendly and inviting! Great place!
Greens and fairways were in very good shape! The only thing I can complain about is that a buddy and I had booked a tee time and upon arriving at the course we were informed that there were 5 foursomes going out before uaor after us ( they were members). We were able to get out ahead of them, but were soon spoke to by the ranger to pick up our pace or let the 5 foursomes play through ( informing us they were members, playing for skins). If that was the case why have an open tee time so close to them going out?? Just cause they are members doesn't mean that you make non- members ( who have never played that course before ) rush their golf game along and hope they enjoy their round. Needless to say those members that called and complained about our pace of play through 4 holes didnt keep up after that and on a side note they sucked! Hitting balls in the woods, or hitting more than 1 ball per player.... but have the adaisity to call and have our game rushed when you're just out there jerking off!

The course is in unbelievable shape. I had an event there Sunday with 28 players, we had a great time & there was no issue with the course at all. The greens rolled great, the staff was very nice & helpful!
I would recommend this place to anyone, it’s a hidden gem!

Segregansett is a great course great staff a real pleasure.
Immaculate
First time playing this course. Won’t be my last. Course was in amazing shape. Not a flaw in any greens. Thumbs up to the grounds maintenance crew all around. I was very surprised at the quality of this course.
The one negative comment about this course is that the bar was not open when we finished at 2pm. A 19th hope is a must or at least have a beverage cart on course.
Tough old course
Course is in fantastic shape! Greens were hard and fastest Ive played on this year so far. Layout of some holes make shots tough, as to be expected at an old beauty like this, but conditions were fantastic.
Great Course
Would play it every day if had time and opportunity. Each hole is challenging but you get rewarded for a good shot. Plenty of water. Plenty of sand. Greens are firm and tricky but not overly quick. Hope to be back again soon.
Fun and challenging
Great condition and super friendly staff. Course was challenging and really fun. Will definitely be back after this great experience.
Needs a major renovation project
The staff where nice and helpful. Range was little more than a divot field with a narrow fairway to hit into with balls that might just predate Tigers birth year.
Unfortunately this course as well maintained as it was is a very gimmicky layout. Par 5 where you got a layup off the tee with a hard left corner that you can’t see. A par 3 that was 240 probably was a par 4 when the course was originally designed
To many hidden hazards for my liking
To many holes where only playable if you play the course multiple times or have a caddy

Always like this course and in great shape for April,just wish the public could use the driving range! food in clubhouse very good
Just a Delight
What a great course ...at this time of year...virtually no leaves anywhere on any hole...kudos to the Super and course staff...will be back...looking forward to the spring and summer season...plays longer than it reads ...need to play SCORING golf vs GRIP/RIP...hard to lose a ball, but it can be done if one does not stay within ones self...
