Overall it was great. The only drawback was it took forever to get a sandwhich. Don't stop in for lunch and you'll be fine !

course was in excellent shape. The course is right there in front of you, what you see is what you get. I would like to see the greens slightly faster ( i like fast greens). Mark in the pro shop was awesome.super friendly and very helpful. Cant wait to play it again.

I picked up a tee time last minute and was pleased at the courteous welcome of the staff when I arrived. Then course was open except for a foursome getting ready to tee off. Upon seeing I was a single, they allowed me to play through. The members were extremely courteous upon finding out it was my first time playing the track and told me I would love it. Caught up to a twosome after the 6th hole but still finished in 3 hours 20 minutes playing with them. Great track with great greens and a layout that treats you fairly. Will definitely play here again.

I loved this course although the members were not cordial due to the fact it is a private course and I was John Q Public impeding on them... But it is worth playing...

I got to enjoy a great afternoon with my High School golfer. The conditions were perfect and the greens were fast and true. This is a course to put on your list if you want a challenge.

greens were a 7 on a scale of 1-10.fairways were in great shape.staff was very cordial and very friendly.would go back again but this time I would avoid rte 44 through Taunton.

The only reason I did not give this course higher ratings is due to the all the rain we had. The course was very wet. I am sure that had an effect on the greens and the fairways had some standing water on them. I will definitely play this course again.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to play this private course, we could not take carts because of all the rainfall the previous day but no matter, It is a very good walking course. The course sports a fine mix of holes and you will probably use every club in your bag. you can hit driver on almost every hole, though there is quite a bit on danger. One nice part is that in general there is bail out areas on most holes. course conditions were excellent and the speed of the greens quick but quite manageable The greens are on the smallish side so a good short game helps. My son and I loved the course and will go back again should the opportunity arise

We played Segregansett on a Hot Deal for $37. This was by far the best deal I've ever gotten in New England. The course is one of the oldest around and is in incredible shape. Lot of water on the course with many parallel holes sharing the same water hazard. All of the greens have a significant amount of slope.

Our group played from the white tees which was a little long for a couple of us. If I go back, I might consider playing the gold tees.

This course isn't on GolfNow often and when it is it seems to only be a Hot Deal for one tee time a day. So if you see it, grab it.

course was well maintained even though greens were recently aerated, they still putted fairly true. not being a particuarly good golfer, the chance to play on a private course that allows non-members to enjoy their facillities is "priceless". pace of play was great because my foursome was slow and we received no pressure from members trailing our group and we allowed them to play through.

Grant it, I booked a tee time to play the Friday after Thanksgiving.
I picked this course because a time was available, (11:40 am), early enough to finish well before darkness.....
Nonetheless, we drive 1 hour to the course,arriving at 10:50 am, only to find 20+ members/players on the practice green, waiting to tee off. The starter said they were 1/2 hr behind schedule, but assured me I would be teeing off at 12:05, 25 minutes late. I walk out of the clubhouse at 12:03, and see a twosome on the first tee, waiving two guys( their buddies) over to the first tee,where me and my partner are due to walk up. I asked the starter what's up. He goes and talks to the twosome on the tee, then proceeds to tell me I will not be playing with the group on the tee, but would be playing with a man and a woman on the practice green, AFTER the 12:05 tee time. I demanded my money back and left.
The majority of the players all knew each other.It was obvious that members were given preferential treatment. I would want that if I was a member. But I would NEVER run a golf club and fail to respect outside players if I opened the doors to non-members. This is what to expect if you play here.In addition to slow play. Read other reviews.

Only problem was they couldn't take a credit card so we had to empty our pockets to pay. Not sure if that is the case always but be prepared. I know they are new to GolfNow and being a private course they may only take cash.

Nice Track! Would love to play again! Summer would be a fantastic time to tee it up again!

From start to finish (including cold draughts) it was a great experience. The course is in great shape. Played it in October. Greens are firm and fast so you have to come in high. Fairways are in great shape and the traps were well groomed and fair. Several greens are well protected. The only funky shot is over the entrance road on the par three 13th. Watch for oncoming traffic. I've played several courses in southeastern Mass and this is one of the best.
