About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Good early season conditions
For early April the course is in nice condition and the greens are in excellent shape and rolling true.
Squirrel run golf course
I love this course. Play in a league there. Any chance I can go there I do. Staff is excellent and the golf pro is great.
Golf Shoes
Would like to see more shoe brushes on course, maybe holes 5-10-15 . If you play there early shoes get heavy with grass clippings.

Well pleased
How can you not enjoy playing this course unless you are a scratch golfer. This course offers all challenges for my type of play. Staff very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended
Great Day
The course was in great condition. 1st time playing here. Love the lay out. Course is great to work on your short game.
The couple in the pro shop were great! Let my friend borrow a set of Calaways since she forgot hers at her country club.
Overall cannot wait to play there again!

I have been playing here for about 4 years. The staff is so friendly and the league is fun. They have done a lot of cleanup to the course …beautiful.
Very nice par 3 course. Greens make for some interesting putts. A real test of your golf skills. Course in great shape, friendly and accommodating staff.
Consistently great
Have played this course several times and today I brought a friend who was also extremely pleased he came and wants to return. Squirrel run is consistently in terrific condition and a great place to play. Staff very friendly
