Atlantic country Club is a gem
After how many times I have played, I always have found the club a hidden gem.
Time for Atlantic to put maintenance and money back in the course
I play Atlantic often, it's a local course. It's a good layout with holes that can challenge your game.
That said there are issues, such as wet low areas that should be repaired, mud spots and areas on fairways, damaged and broken cart paths, sand traps that have edges that have eroded away and never repaired. I'm not sure but, I think their irrigation system has problems that need to be addressed.
It would be a very nice course if these issues were corrected.
Great course and layout but horrible staff.
Signed up solo and got paired with two other awesome dudes!
Went to get a couple of to-go drinks before the round and after the bartender finally came out from the back, he acted like I was causing him an inconvenience and had a major attitude.
Since we were a threesome, we let a few twosomes play through so we wouldn’t mess up their round but ended up causing our round to take a little longer.
As we hit the 18th hole, the ranger came by and about as passive aggressive as you could be told us “he was worried about us we were taking so long and that we needed to hurry up” even though we were on hole 18, with nobody behind us. We get you want the carts back so you can close up but we weren’t the last people on the course.
Overall good experience but just be ready to deal with a few pricks.
Worth Playing
Course is in nice shape and challenging . Weather and scenery is great .
Staff and starter are very grumpy almost always when I visit
Great Fall Golf
Teed off at 8:50 on a Sunday morning and finished at 1:00 on the button. Great pace of play and the conditions were great. I guess there was a frost delay earlier but it didn’t affect my tee time or anything. Fairways were lush & the greens were in fantastic shape for this time of year. Rough was thick in some places and bare in others but that’s what you get in October. Leaves on the ground weren’t a problem really anywhere. I’d play again this fall
very nice experience again
club invested in new carts. course is in very nice condition. layout is a tricky parkland course. driving range could use some love and attention. Overall excellent experience.
