Much improved
I am impressed. The last time I played here it was not in good shape. I can tell that they have worked on it. Greens are much better and they would be perfect if people would just fix their ball marks. Most fairways are good but some still need a little work. Overall I am very happy with how the progress is coming along. Hopefully it will one day be one of the best courses in the state because it certainly has the setting to be that.

Why????
And great clubhouse, great bar and awesome amenities. Greens were in good shape… Why, why, why do they not maintain fairways and tea boxes? We were the only ones on the course… They said because of the rain but I say it’s because they let the conditions deteriorate. Honestly, this course would be awesome… Great layout, cool elevations and visually interesting. Great selection of beers and drinks in the clubhouse… I would tell you to play there but just be prepared that if you’re 5 feet off the green and think you’re going to run the ball up there you’re gonna have to go through a small forest but o get there!

Fun and good value
Nice mountain views with a fun layout. T boxes were in poor shape. Greens were nice. Good value. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Mountain course
When you walk in the front door the smell of cedar hits you and you know you are in the mountains . The bar serves food and a good selection of IPA’s, wine and stiffer options as well. And the view from the bar is beautiful looking out over the course and mountains in the back drop. I could have stayed there all day. The course was challenging, interesting and fun. If you have never played this course I recommend that on some holes you drive down and look at your landing area in that some fairways are hidden around a corner or over a hill. My only knock were that the fairways need attention. I am not talking about moving from winter to spring, I am talking about proper maintenance. Over all I truly in joyed this mountain retreat atmosphere.

Disappointed with poor condition of this course.
Years ago this course was in satisfactory shape and fun to play. This time the greens and fairways were poor and the pace of play terrible. Our round was 5 hours 15 minutes.
Will not be back!

Greens need lot of work. Fairways not grown out yet. Bunker sand has rocks in it.

Not worth the money
Fairways need actual grass, Greens were good. Didn't hit the sand so I can't say about bunkers. It does have some amazing views but the cost for a cow pasture like that is ludicrous. I won't be playing it again.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We’re glad you enjoyed our greens. As for our fairways, the Bermuda grass is still in dormancy due to colder nights here in the valley. As soon as nature provides with warmer temperatures our fairways will be in great condition.

Fun course
I am from Florida so playing a course with serious elevation changes was new to me. Had a blast. Course was in good shape considering the time of year. Would definitely play here again.

WILD Laurel
5 Star Experience from the Pros that check you in to the 19rh hole when you finish with food and beverages! Greens were great, fairways were still a bit damp but great for winter golf! Wildlife galore with beautiful views of the mountains! Doesn't really matter what you score with such a beautiful venue!

Will return when in area
I'm not a great golfer but love to play. Basically a 20 handicap. Course is not hard but what impressed me the most was the friendliness of EVERYONE! That's important to me. I've played some very expensive courses that were immaculate but the staff could have cared less that I was there. Great job Hidden Laurel. !!!!!
