Wild Laurel Golf Course

Staff has done great job with course . Improvements galore . Fairways still a lil rough by coming along nicely . Greens were best I’ve seen them & we play here often . Still slower than most but really nice . Views are crazy nice . Tee boxes are much improved .We played 18 in 3 hours and 15 Min.

We booked this course last minute and found it to be a jewel.

We come down every spring. This year was cancelled because of the virus, but the calendar wouldnt let me put March 2019, so I put March 2020. We will be back next year. After the Gatlinburg Municipal Course, this is our favorite. Its just a fun mountain course to play on. We dont get hills like these on the northern Indiana course we have, so its awesome for us. And the bar they fixed up at this place is just awesome. Finish your round, have some cold adult beverages, and look out over God's creation of the mountains and the valleys and the golf course that is laid in there. Just awesome.

This is becoming one of my favorite courses to play in the Knoxville/Gatlinburg area. Fun. Not too long. Not too open, but open enough. Shot a 94, so much better for me than usual. This is a fun course to play.

Warning: The members at the clubhouse can sometimes be loud and heard throughout some of the holes, but that’s going to be the case wherever most likely. It’s a lovely clubhouse, so I can understand them wanting to hang out there and enjoy it.

Our first time at Wild Laurel was wonderful. This beautiful course tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains is a treat. The scenery was great and the course was in good shape, will certainly play again in the fall when the trees are in full color.

Wild Laurel Golf course is really improving as summer continues. The greens are in great condition, they had been top dressed recently so we’re a little slow but that will be changing in the next couple of days. We really enjoy playing at wild Laurel

Fun course to play... Target golf - can’t spray your driver... fairway Bermuda sporadic and rough is rough... greens slow due to sand.

Can score if you hit irons/hybrids off tee box and put driver up... handful of driver holes for me... thick woods line most of fairways... wish course conditions were better, but not bad layout... fun course to play,.. I shot a 79 and only used driver 6 holes.

The course was beautiful and very well taken care of! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there are no golf memberships at this time, but we will definitely be coming back to play.

Had not played here in a year or so and decided to try again. Much better this time. Fairways and rough had been cut. Greens were very good (although very slow compared to most courses I play). Grass was sparse in some spots of fairways and rough, but we just moved ball to some grass. Not a bad deal if you use Golf Now hot deal.

This is a pretty nice course with several narrow fairways and some interesting holes. Surrounding area and the clubhouse are really nice. Grabbed a quick sandwich and beer at the turn and the view from the bar was incredible. The folks at the course were really nice.

Only had two complaints: 1. The greens were very furry...they were in good condition but in desperate need of mowing. Almost had to chip if you had a long putt. I’m sure staff has been limited due to the pandemic but was surprised that the greens had not been mowed in anticipation of a good crowd on a beautiful Saturday for golfing. 2. Grass in the fairways was a little sparse on a few holes.

Horrible course conditions. The fairways had not seen a mower in at least a week. The greens were super shaggy and slow. The fairways were higher than the rough I played at a different course the day before. Inexcusable to charge $50 for two people to play 9 holes in these conditions. Deep discounts should be offered when course conditions are that bad. I won't be back. I'm tired of paying premium prices for worse than Muni conditions.

Play there at least once or twice a week. The staff is working hard to get the course in good shape. It shows a lot of improvement, Thank You. Greens are wonderful.

Played course in under two hours. I loved the layout. Fairways could use a little love but I mean for the price I got more than I paid for. Nice guy in pro shop. Greens can use a little love too but just don't be to hard on yourself and give relief when appropriate. I would play again!
