Smoky Mountain View’s
I always love Wild Laurel.. such beautiful views while playing golf here. During this time of year after a brutal winter in Townsend the fairways cannot be judged but they’re keeping up the greens. Some things they can control and others they can’t. If you want to see this course in Al of its glory check it out in the summer. Beautiful! Wild laurel has always had a place in my heart. The beauty, the serenity, course layout, bar staff and the staff.
Underwhelming
I realize it’s February and courses in area are rough but I can’t imagine this course being “grown in” or manicured come warm season. Missing all types of grass in large numerous areas.

Perfect time of year, course was in good condition. Very enjoyable. Will definitely come back.
Disgusting
Played here 4 tears ago. Course conditions were 5 of 10. Course has promise and publications promised investment and improvements. Well 4 years later it lacks maintenance. Greens have bare spots fairways and rough need mowing and grooming. Worst conditions I have ever seen. Couldn't pay me to return.

Nearly our favorite course in the area
This has been one of our favorite courses in the area. Beautiful clubhouse with a little restaurant, a great food trailer at the turn, and a drink cart circling. The course conditions have been awesome in the past. We have seen some more rough edges around the fairways, crabgrass on the tee boxes and bad spots on the greens. We hope they get these improved.

Great Backbone
Has the potential to be a championship level course but is just kinda in a state of disrepair
not a peach
This course has a nice layout and feel but the fairways are poor and some issues on their greens. would not recommend for a good golf experience.

Poor Playing Conditions
Tee boxes and fairways in poor condition. Greens passable. Great layout but hard to tell fairway from rough. Friendly staff, nice bar.

Laurel Crest
Great course for the money. Don’t expect Augusta and you will be fine. A shot in the rough was definitely a disadvantage. Challenging course knowing that. Take plenty of balls.
