Do not waste your money no matter how good of a deal it seems.
They could not pay me to come back and play this course, sand traps look like they haven’t been touched or cared for in a decade, nothing is upkept or on the up and up, long grass everywhere, took the staff 20 minutes to cash me out for my tee time, greens riddled with burnt out spots,, I will never be back.
Great value
The course is in good condition for the weather we've been having. The carts are in good shape. The bar and restaurant are good.
Rough looking course
The worse absolutely worse sand traps I’ve ever seen on a Mi course. Looks like nobody is grooming the fairways, they need to be cut and leveled badly! The ruts are everywhere and the course has several open pipes and repairs that look awful! We plaid $91 for my wife and I to plays on Father’s Day 2025 and we won’t. E back unless the fees are severely lowered or they actually groom the back nine.
not worth a penny to play
Gotta be one of worst courses I've played. Not able to differentiate between fairways, roughs, and some times greens. Bunkers were just mud/weed holes. Pace of play was outrageously slow. Granted it was a holiday weekend, but stacked 3 or 4 groups deep on each hole is stupid. But the absolute dumbest thing was the beverage lady we saw once, when she was telling everyone its last call, AT 2PM, ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND!! so they make you wait 30mins btw holes to tee up and can't even get a drink? Beyond dumb management. Longest round of my life, couldnt pay me to play there again
wont ever be back
Way over booked. Waiting 3 groups deep on every hole. Theres not difference btw fairways, roughs. Sandtraps are mud and weed beds. Worst part is beverage lady did last call at 2pm! On a holiday weekend! And when we did buy a drink it took her 30mins to figure out how to use her phone to charge us, further backing up entire course. Wont ever be back
Michigan Meadows
Complete dog track. The layout is OK but the bunkers are empty except for puddles and weeds, the greens were not mowed the Sunday we played, and the pace of place was bad (4 hours 40 minutes), with no rangers. They offer Group Golfer coupons for $20 though, so, we keep coming back once a year to see if it’s any different. Unfortunately so do a lot of new players who don’t understand etiquette, pace of play, scramble play, or best ball etc, so the pace was brutal. The course packs as many people on as possible. By the third hole there was a group on the green, a group in the fairway, a group on the tee, and us waiting for the tee. Brutal.
Nice little course!
It is not fair the course was in rough shape. It was mid April. Still needs time to recover from the winter. We really enjoyed it here playing for the first time and it definitely made us want to come back once everything has grown in. Pricing was more than fair ($35 for 18 and cart) and it was pretty easy to get to off of I-94. Will be back once or twice every year!
