eh... inexpensive for a reason
The layout had a few interesting holes and variation, some wide open tee shots and some very tight shots. The length is on the short side, but the par3s are all on the long side 180-195 yds so not the balance I would like. From there it got worse. This was early spring, but even given that the condition was poor. Hard to see fairways from rough, sand traps were unplayable (weeds/mud), and the greens were like putting on fairways. Unfortunately, just not good. Was first off, so... enjoyed the weather and essentially having the course to myself.
Duffer course
To many duffers playing on this course. The twosome in front of me they were hitting 2 to 3 balls off every tee each. Didn't help that is was cart path only. Very slow round
New owners making a difference
The last 4 years this course has been under new management and they have been putting a lot of work in to the course. you can see it when you play. its a great course for fun rounds and some challenging holes. Plus a full service great restaurant that many public courses don't offer.
put it on your to do list this year 2025 I'm told sand traps are going in in the spring. Game changer time to practice the sand wedge ;)
This course just stopped caring
Everything here at this course has gone astray, greens fairways, stopped being maintained. Pace was horrendous. Course was way better at beginning of season.
Loved it
Im a relatively new golfer, but i really enjoyed this course. Course condition was good with maybe just a few little here and there things. Layout was awesome. Definitely look forward to playing there again soon
A nice day on the course
Course is in great late summer condition, with a casual ease of play. Staff is friendly, layout is open and for a public course it is a lot of fun to play. Greens are large and light on challenges but an enjoyable outing.
Great course
Awesome place nice people and the club restaurant has amazing food. My only complaint is no carts are allowed in the parking lot. This means you have to Cary your clubs to the car not a big deal but most places don’t care
Michigan Meadows
For the amount of rain we've had the course wasn't in that bad of shape. First time I played there, challenging with a lot of water holes. Would definitely go back.
