Good value
For what I paid, it was a good experience. Very friendly staff, clean clubhouse. The layout of the course can be a bit confusing, but it was a very fun course to play. Had no problems with pacing, even arriving a few minutes late. I recommend this course.

Fun course!
This is a great course for the high beginner to intermediate golfer. It's decently groomed, and has just the right amount of. If you want to take your game a little higher. It's a fun course with a fun atmosphere and just about all the people I've met golfing there are laid back and cool. Everyone that works there is super nice. I highly recommend.

Slowest round ever
Teed off 20 minutes late on home 1 because four groups waiting, pace never got better. Ranger didn’t seem to mind and stopped at 9 instead of playing full 18. Cross this one off the list and go play somewhere else.

course was fun to play. Some holes had placement shots, some was grip em and rip em. The biggest disappointment was the greens I felt they should have been in better shape for this time if the year

Teed off at 11::00, done by 2:00. Twosome with my wife who is a beginner. Course in very good shape considering the flooding Fern Hill gets.
Staff were some of the friendliest I've met anywhere. Even saw one of the two resident bald eagles on hole 3.

Mother's day
I took my wife and family out for mother's day and was pleasantly surprised. While there were a few singles and doubles out on the course, we never felt rushed or hurried.
I'll check this course out during the week to see if I feel differently, but I may have found a new course when I want to take my wife and kids with me.

Great day to start the season!
Classic River course on the North East side of town - plays through flood basin - reminds me very much of Rouge Park, Warren Valley, and Wesburn on the other side of Detroit..
Old growth trees lots of thin passages.

Great
I really like the course, very nice has always been . Was expecting it to be a little wet with the amount of rain we been having, but besides a couple of puddles the course was in wonderful condition. I will be back Jaír wish it was a little closer, to top it off we thought we spotted a bald eagle

For $20 can’t beat it
Course is rather open with a few tricky areas, for just getting back into golf it was perfect. Went just before 1pm and had an easy pace and didn’t have to wait on anybody, few people out but for the cost you can’t beat it.

Cheap golf
I like the track at fern hill it has some quirky but fun holes to play.
Tee box need a lot of help and the fairways are in horrible condition but it's still fun to play but make sure your expectations are not like your playing a premium course.
