Great Value!
Great value for how nice the course is. Interesting layout, some narrow tee shots favor accuracy over distance.
My first time p!saying this course and I found it exceptional. A tough but fair layout! The greens and fairways were in excellent condition! It is a great value for the green fee. I would definitely play this course again!
Nice day at the Meadows
Clubhouse was close due to Covid but everything else was great.

Prime time conditions
Perfect time to play. Course team did a great job adjusting to pandemic mandates. Course is in great shape even with all the rain!!
Amazing physical conditions especially the fairways and greens...
I played 18 holes after 48 hours of 4-7 inches of rain dumped on the course. The drainage is amazing and the staff really works hard to provide safe and challenging golf. Can't wait to play again today!
Great conditions, reasonable rates, and friendly staff
We enjoy playing this course because it’s always in good shape, very walkable and It has fast greens. It’s also a good value for the money. The practice facilities are top notch although not open yet. There is a lot of play so be prepared for that. . I highly recommend this course.
Amazing Course
The Meadows at GVSU is a course I would recommend for any golfer no matter what skill level. Can be very challenging depending on what tees you play from. Make sure you keep your shots in the fairways as most holes have tall thick grass in the rough areas which are trouble. Course is very well maintained and has a beautiful layout with the campus of GVSU in the background on some holes. Home of many NCAA Division 2 golf championships, there is no doubt why this course is chosen. Great value for what you pay.
Wonderful round
Went to Michigan to visit my Dad and played 3 rounds at different courses. Course was in great shape with a very friendly staff. Not a long course but narrow and playable for my dad in his 70s and me at 50. Had a great time and will be back when I visit again.
Course was in super shape.better hit it straight and keep it out of the fescue grass
Book it!
I don’t give 5 star reviews very often but The Meadows deserves 6 stars if I could give it to them. One word, immaculate! The greens will test you. They are big, multi leveled yet inviting. I am a senior woman and my drives top out at 180 now. My hubby and I play the forward tees together. We loved having the opportunity to hit irons into them. I birdie the first hole, a par five. I got to hit my 3rd shot with a 9 iron. That’s unheard of normally. Of course, I can’t speak for those of you who play from the tips but I’m sure you’ll love the course. There’s 5 sets of tees so choose yours wisely. The Meadows staff is amazing. Crews were out working in force on a course that looked like it couldn’t possibly need anything. I live 4 hours away from The Meadows but there’s no doubt I will play it again. It’s perfect.
Nice track
The Meadows offers wide landing areas for most drives. The greens have a lot of undulation, and today's pin placements were a bit extreme. I really like this course.
A course that will easily compare with PGA
I live in southern Florida near Jupiter. This course plays as well as PGA courses I play in southern Florida. Fairways well groomed. You can take a divot as you should be able to with a proper stroke. Greens fast and true. Only one green that had several bad ball Marks. We arrived early and were allowed to play early. Only got held up for two holes. A great value for hot deal. Would gladly pay full price. I will be back
