Twin Birch Golf Club

About
The beautiful setting of Twin Birch Golf Club in Kalkaska features stands of red pine and birch trees lining the fairways and the Boardman River, which winds its way all throughout the course. The golf course is mostly flat with the exception of a few raised greens on the back nine. The greens on the front nine are level with open fronts, inviting players to attach the flags. There are ample landing zones along the tree-lined fairways, making Twin Birch a golf course that will appeal to beginners and high handicappers but there are still challenges in store for the more advanced golfers as well. Some of the doglegs holes can be quite tricky. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking along some of the greensides and water comes into play on eight holes.

Perfect gem- Complete package- great walking course
If you're looking for a fantastic golfing experience up north, this course is definitely worth a visit. It offers a tight course that will challenge your skills, but the views are worth it. The river views are especially breathtaking. And, the best part of it all, is the wildlife. You'll see plenty of animals on the course, which adds to the overall ambiance. The clubhouse is top notch too! I highly recommend grabbing a drink and some awesome food after the game and taking in the scenery. Overall, an amazing golf course that I plan to visit again soon.
Beautiful shape. Several doglegs.
I enjoyed the course, although with the doglegs, it would be nice if they indicated the distances from the tee to the dogleg, and a suggestion of which side of the fairway gives you a shot at the green. I can see it helps your scoring to have played the course a few times.
Love this course
Love this course, reasonable price, great conditions, and awesome new clubhouse!
Great corse, new clubhouse!
I always enjoy playing this course. The new clubhouse is awesome! Ate lunch there and the food was outstanding.
Amazing new club house, great good and fun play
Raised in Kalkaska twin birch was always fun but with the new club house, new menu and a fun course…it’s really the whole package now. Course was clean and well groomed, the food was amazing and the new club house was so well done. When I come back home to visit I’ll play there again.
Excellent Course; Great New Restaurant
This used to be my home course; and after playing it I wished it was still my home course (we moved). Course was in great shape. the new clubhouse is fantastic, food is good, not just golf course fare. This is a real restaurant! Since I don't have to fight the crowds, I recommend that everyone go play this course, and have dinner.
