About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Not my best round
Great day on the course . Greens were slower then norm and I lost a bakers dozen balls, front nine went as normal but got stuck between league players on the back nine felt a lil rushed even though we had a 4 group in front of us it was still as if we were getting mortar shelled from the 3 behind. Which kinda dampened the enjoyment for my fiance who felt she needed to watch behind her more then focus on the game she was playing. But that's prolly what you get for picking a mid afternoon tee time for 2 to play 18 on a Friday when leagues starts around 5 -6 pm so I hold the blame . Still any day on golden hawk is a great day swinging the sticks !
Great course
Great course for women. The little red fox that visited us at the starting hole was a nice touch 😊
First timers
It was a nice course. I think rain hit them very hard the day before we played but in reasonably good shape. The only real negative comment was about the number of holes with power lines going through them. But it is what it is great staff, great carts.
Slow play/ tee times too close
Gave up after 15 holes and 5hours. They had 9 4-somes that play together once a month. 35 mins past tee time before we could even tee off. I am done with this course as it requires 5-6 hours to play.

By par the nicest course in the area at a bargain cost per round
Absolutely love this course and the staff , tee times are spot on and yesterday's rain delays promptly had the course team calling customers to choose whether to take a rain check or tee time push ... I opted for the push and went off 1.5 hours after my original scheduled tee time . Even with mother nature hit in the morning the wife and I played a solid 18 and I even pared on 17 with a 61 ft chip just off the left front of the green . Just a fun and relaxing round to make a long work week disappear. Can't wait to book next week's tee time !!
Needs a ranger to patrol the course
Needs a more effective ranger who will tell the slow players to speed it up. There was only a threesome and 2 twosomes in front of my twosome and it took almost 5 1/2 hours to play.
Great place to hit the clubs!
I thought the course was excellent. Well maintained and challenging and stunning. The club house is spectacular as is the staff. The bar and restaurant were very nice as well. Overall experience was top notch and enjoyable.
Slow play
I had 11:48 tee time and didn’t tee off until 12:26. Several 4some groups using back tee box and couldn’t hit the ball past 100yards, if they did it was sliced.
