About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Holiday play
Fairways were well manicured and the greens rolled true and nice but hold on to your beer because the cart paths are horrible!!!!!!
Almost !
Had a great pace going and made turn . Golf league off back nine (why) entire course ground to a complete stop. Should have been warned about league.
Nice round
Course is drying up and cart paths have been improved if only it would stop raining all the time, so they can improve their sand bunkers. It would be more fun.
It’s not bad course is decent little bit of challenging for holes you could just book teetimes a little bit farther apart so it’s not a log jam

Didn’t open til after scheduled tee time.
Course was locked until after our tee time of 9:04 and was told the course didn’t open til 9. I cancelled my tee time because we left the course considering there was no cars and gates were locked. Still have yet to receive our refund of 160$

Bad greens
Greens were airated the day before and back 9 was being done the day. we played. Had to play the front twice and the greens were wet. Putting was a muddy mess. Weren't told this until we showed up.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience you experienced when booking your tee time. Our goal is to provide our golfers with all relevant information when booking their round online. Delayed Tee Time
I got here 40 minutes early and stood in line in the pro shop for almost a half hour. Nobody behind the counter for about 20 minutes. Which then caused a 4 Party lineup at the first tee. My philosophy is that I get there early since if I’m late I could miss my tee time all together. The fact that someone wasn’t in the pro shop for 20 minutes and then took their time checking everyone in was a slap in the face with no apologies for the wait. (For the record I’m not one to usually write a review) . This all being said, I sure hope it was a fluke of a bad experience because the course was a nice and relaxing play.
