About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Needs improvement
Many greens brown and so fairways,hole 17 temporarily green.

Fun time
It was a bit wet but I mean that was the weather. Other than that I enjoy this course each time I play. Rarely an issue or stuck playing behind people
Masks?
Apparently Ryan the golf pro and the lady working the bar are the only staff who feel the need to wear masks inside the clubhouse
Just be aware of this when you enter Golden Hawk
Thank you for the information. Per Michigan restrictions only inside staff is required to wear masks at the golf course, our outside staff is not required to wear masks. Ryan and the F&B manager were the only inside staff this day. We take pride in making sure we have a safe environment for all at the golf course
Very Good Spring Conditions
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the condition of the course was. Ryan was vey professional and pleasant in the pro shop. The carts were clean and in good condition. The only disappointment was the overcrowding ie: on #10 we were on the Par 4 tee box, there were 2 groups on the fairway and a fourth group on the green.

Poor planning
It is the end of March in Michigan and the course has horrible planning. Me and my playing partner were delayed over an hour and a half from our tee time because of frost. They only sent people off hole 1 instead of off 1 & 10. We typically can get through a round is 3 hours maybe 3 1/2 max. It took over 5 hours for our round. Every hole we had to wait for groups on front of us to clear so we could hit.
Im sorry you feel we have poor planning. Unfortunately it is not always possible to send golfers off both the front and back on a busy day. If we would have tee'd people off the back they would have had no where to turn after playing nine holes. No golfers ended rounds in more than 4.5 hours, so despite the frost delay everyone played in a traditional 18 hole time frame. Hope to see you again in the future

unfair to review at this time, due to it is the 1st day of spring and nothing is growing yet. But people are already not fixing their ball marks
Rundown
Haven’t played there yet in 2021, but the course conditions in 2020 were horrible. The cart paths were nothing but water filled pot holes, there was barely any difference between fairway & rough, and the greens had major problems. This course has gone downhill in recent years.
Won’t Return
Kicked us off at 4 pm. 1.5 hrs of daylight left, and blamed Golfnow for late tee time booking.
Same thing happened to us. Very rude to us. Pay for 18 holes and only allowed to play 15. What a way to end a golf season. Will never return and I will tell fellow golfers about their attitude.

Since I can't find a way to get back with you, I will write it here. The course was closed at my tee time because of frost and all start times were moved to 12:00.(Mine was at 10:23) and cart path only. Because I got my tee time through you, I didn't find this out until arriving and because I can only walk short distances and the later tee times, I had to cancel. I tried to find a way to get a refund on your site but couldn't because it was past the time that was scheduled.
Course layout itself was good. The travel conditions were terrible. Cart paths were extremely muddy and uneven. NEDD TO BE REPAIRED.
Golden Hawk in November
Nice course but pace was slow and holes were pretty close together. Staff great and value was good.
Needs some TLC

Good Value for the price
It's November so I don't expect a complete kept up course. The greens were a little long but but can't complain too much. Fairways were in good shape. Main complaint is the cart paths in bad condition, many were flooded and had pot holes. Worth the money.
Always a great course for the money
A lot of fun to play without that many tough holes but still somewhat of a challenge
