About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Entire days play
Do you enjoy spending the entire day waiting on the Tee box and Fairway? This is the place. 8 minutes between scheduled Tee times and a ranger that allows walk ons between 8 minute 4-somes. 5 hours in and still on hole 14. Don’t mind the jeans and cabbage patch on hole 17. Love putting on the fairway for a create a hole experience.
All for the quality pricing of $45. Enjoy, or don’t. They won’t care.
Terrible
Didn’t have enough carts. Very slow pace of play expect a round longer than 5 hours. Terrible

No carts upon arrival
Tee time was 2:08. I waiting for about 30 min for a cart and didn’t tee off until about 2:30

Course was in very good condition for the time of the year. Ranger was very nice and informative of the course. Great time
Great course but they need a ranger
Course is in great shape. The problem is it takes 6 hrs to golf 18 holes cause 4somes don't let you play through and there is no one directing the pace of play. So it's a good course but be prepared to be there for a while!
Great fairways
Beautiful course, nice layout, great fairways, and fairly nice greens. Great value for the money. It plays fair and is a blast to play.

Good weather
pace of play was really slow. The greens were in rough shape. There was a temporary green on the 17th hole. 1 upside the staff or very friendly

Starting to work on it
Looks like there are some attempts being made to help this course but, there is still a long way to go before it gets back to the way it used to be.

Early yet but nice layout
It’s spring golf so course needs a spring cleanup. Lots of rough patches and greens damaged. Need course work.
Course was a mess
It’s been a few years since I’ve played here and I always enjoyed it and found it to be an above average course that was well maintained. I understand that it’s early in the season and so I didn’t expect the course to be in pristine condition, however, it was an absolute disaster. They stuck a flag in the middle of the fairway on #17 because the green was so badly destroyed... well how do you putt from on a fairway. Most other fairways were patchy and chewed up. Just reallllly bad condition - especially for the amount they charged $38 for 18. I will not go back to this course - ever. I don’t know what they’re doing with the greens fees, but they clearly aren’t putting them into the course upkeep.

Needs some TLC
The whole course needs some TLC. Maybe it is due to Covid-19 hurting the balance sheet and there aren't any funds for maintenance
