Brentwood Golf Club & Banquet Center
About
Brentwood Golf & Banquet Center in White Lake is conveniently less than an hour from downtown Detroit. The 18-hole layout has two distinctly different designs. The front nine is a wooded trail design with homes lining the fairways while the back nine has a more open, classic Scottish-links layout with fewer trees. There are nearly 40 bunkers situated along the greens and fairways and a variety of marshes, wetlands, and ponds come into play on 13 holes. To make the golf course even more challenging, the strategically placed mounding provides a number of tricky uneven lies from all angles and on nearly every hole. Brentwood's par-5 16th is a particularly memorable hole, featuring a grass hill that is directly in front of the green, almost completely blocking the view of the putting surface on the approach.

Perfect Golf
I have golfed here many times, it is always great golf, Stan is at the counter and always smiling.
I recommend this course to anyone looking for some great fairways!!!

Brentwood recommended
I took my cousin for his first round there. We were both impressed by condition and layout.
Found one golfer special and got put with three other gentlemen. Had a great time, but had to be delayed about 45 minutes due to a large outing ahead of us. It's a great and challenging course that tests both your long and short game. Lots of fun!
First time played but will return
Two very different nines. The front is short and rather tight and a little difficult being the first time here due to several blind shots. But some fun holes including a couple drivable par fours. Back nine much more wide open and longer. You don't see it but water or other hazards comes into play on a couple holes from the tee shot so check first, hole 1 in particular. Our wives enjoyed playing the front tees as they made par fours and fives very fair. Course was in very good condition and the staff were awesome.
woman's to long in some places
Have played their many times great course love the carpet Fairways not too many courses in the area have that type of grass
Great Course
It may not be the longest course but you do get to use every club in the bag. Green complexes can be tricky but overall this course provides a fun round for all levels of play
Variety of challenging holes
Brentwood is my favorite course. Course is always in great shape. When I play a round, Brentwood is my first choice. Course in most areas are surrounded by up-scale homes. Front 9 is narrower and shorter. Back 9 is wide open after the 11th hole and longer, but strategy needed on a few holes like 16th where a lay up on the 2nd shot is advisable unless you hit a monster tee shot.
Beautiful course
This is a must-play. This course is always taken care of very well, and it is a beautiful layout weaving through the neighborhood. It can get pretty busy, so try to avoid playing if you're in a big hurry. There are some tough holes, with doglegs, trees, bunkers, and water. Greens roll true and are normally groomed perfectly. It's always a very enjoyable experience.
short course. lots of backyards to look at all day. plays slow.
Fun challenge
My wife and I played here for the first time4/18/17 and found the course to be in great shape for spring conditions. The layout was great and provided many senic views. We will come back and bring other golfers.
This course is in nice shape
Nice course, some pretty short holes but dog legs make it interesting
1st time playing
Front 9 kind of target golf, back 9 totally different than front 9. Enjoyed back 9 much more than front 9. Greens were in great shape and very undulating. Pace of play was awesome due to early tee time but could see how it could be slow with front having some short par 4's. Leave longer clubs in the bag for most of the front side, grip and rip on back.
Love this course!
Fun course! I always enjoy playing here! The course is always well maintained.
Brentwood
Brentwood is well kept up and pace of play was excellent. The only critique is that the yardages as marked on the course and scorecard seemed over valued. When comparing to GPS distances, the yardages were off. Despite that I would return again.
Nice staff
This course is extremely short, but nice greens! The staff was a little short with me. But overall a good course!
Could not be better
The course was in great condition. Bunkers raked, greens smooth, fairways mowed. Greens are challenging but can be putted with some effort. Lunch was great in the Grill.
