Great Value
Played on a Friday early AM as a single. Tees off around 7:15 and finished in just over 2 hours. Despite being off early the pins were all set, the greens blown dry, and they were out cutting the fairways. This is not a country club course, but the value is excellent. $34 with tax and cart for 18 holes. The greens were rolling true and in great shape, the signage was good, the fairways were cut nicely. The layout is good, not too many quirky holes. It’s a par 70, so a short track. There are some challenging holes. Course would be fun for beginners as well as better golfers. I will definitely play again for the price played.
Nice course!
Not sure how I’ve never been here before since it’s right near my house. I really enjoyed this course. Staff was friendly and seemed to have a nice vibe about it in general. Nice range. Pace was a bit slow but it was a perfect Sunday so that’s expected. Will be back for sure.
Great time
Loved this course. Well maintained tee boxes, fairways and greens. Great and friendly staff. A must golf for all. I will be going back here. Thanks Rolling Meadows for the great time.
Fun Course
Fun Course to play, everyone there seems to be great people!
A Plus customer service at the pro shop and bar
Loved the customer service I received from a majority of the team members.
Great experience
It was slow due to a lot of very bad golfers in front of us, but other than that, the experience was great! Staff was friendly and personable, course was in great shape, great value!
They backslid on pace of play AND just cranked up their rates
Welp… after a few times playing this course, I had pretty much decided I could bear the slow pace of play, given how close it is to my home and the reasonable green fees, but just today I see they have cranked their fees up another $12-$15. For a cute little country course that takes over five hours to play, with bunkers packed hard as concrete, and a clubhouse that looks/feels like it’s about to collapse, you’re just not worth it guys.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Rolling Meadows Country Club.
Solid course for a nice little Saturday
If you're looking for punishing long driving tests and treasure trying to find your ball in 6" of hay and a day of strategically inane water zones - this really isn't going to be your jam.
But if you're looking for a solid value on and off the course while asking you to make shots that, if you miss, you can find and have a more difficult next shot up... this is a nice course.
The staff was absolutely brilliant across the board we couldn't speak higher of them and the clubhouse/bar is equipped for your hydration needs.
Pace can bunch up a little bit on the front 9 and Hole 5 is a little wonky but outside of that its a solid course that is forgiving enough to enjoy the day while enough variation to give your game a bit of a workout.

Excellent time. Very well-kept & well-managed
This is my second time playing this course, and I was very satisfied. I had left an earlier review about the slowness of play, but I was here today at the same time of day on the same day of the week, and things have not only greatly improved in that regard, but I saw the marshal making rounds probably at least half a dozen times. Bravo. I’ll definitely be back.
Very slow pace due to starting times.
I enjoyed the course very much. Unfortunately, after 4 hours to do just over 9 holes we just left a few holes into the back 9. I believe tee times were only spaced 2 minutes apart which seemed really odd to me and created a monster log jam. If you like waiting 10+ minutes between each stroke this was the place to be. Needless to say I never felt like I got warmed up and essentially left the course annoyed. I think I would only come back when it is the colder and less people. Or when they space out tee times more vs trying to cram as many people out there and just making it miserable for all players.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Beautiful course but terrible terrible enforcement of pace and behavior
The course is beautiful and well-kept, but never in my many decades of playing golf have I seen such a slow pace of play with complete impunity. Groups are spending 20+ minutes on a green and blasting loud music, with never a marshal anywhere to be seen to help speed things along or get the boom boxes turned off.
This is my first time playing here, and I was excited to learn that there’s a course in this good shape less than 10 minutes from my home, but I’m not sure I’ll come back. It’s been an hour and a half and we’ve played 6 holes so far.

Nice course when it’s dry out
Doesn’t drain very well but when it’s dry it’s a great price for a nice course
