Not quite worth the money
Played this morning at 6:38 with a co-worker. Pace was fine with only a couple groups ahead of us. Conditions were the biggest issue I had. Many tee boxes were bare, hard packed clay with no grass to be found. It appeared as though the tees had not been moved since yesterday which was a Saturday and seemed crazy to me. Many were riddled with used, broken tees, like 50 tees, which I don’t really hate since I use those often but it just shows the lack of attention. Fairways were a bit shaggy and undefined. Greens were a bit less shaggy but still quite spongey and slow. Layout is typical for the age of the course with not standing out of interest. Good place to take a young beginning golfer on a Sunday afternoon I suppose but not what I typically try to play.
Worth the money
Played with two buddies and found the course in very good condition. We played behind a league, so the front 9 was a bit slow. Overall a very good value foe the money!
Staff is absolutely professional and down to earth. Great course to play with a group of buddies and gives you the up north feels.
ENJOYABLE
I truly enjoyed my outing here—the course is challenging yet super fair, greens were running true and very fast. Fun course to play, ‘twas a bit slow but rangers are out keeping things moving as best as they could— staff was very courteous— hamburger deal was another thing, not sure what kinda meat is in there but it wasn’t good— threw it out after the first bite—Shoulda got the hot dog deal I guess—I won’t hold that against my overall experience here and will be playing here again soon!

Nice Little Run
Really the only reason I play here is because it’s my buddy’s favorite course. Today was the best I’ve seen this course. Greens were well groomed, fairways green. I can tell they’ve been working their hands to bone to get it together. I will play here not because it’s my bud’s favorite place, but because I enjoy it too.
A pleasant surprise
This course was not what I expected from when I pulled in. A run-of-the-mill public course aesthetic surprised me with a course including a great variety of holes, better than expected greens and a quick peaceful round. If you live about 30 minutes from here, giving this place a shot is not a bad idea. Not one I’d go to often, but a good impression left along!
First time playing the course
It was a course close to home that never knew existed. Took day off work and it was very nice day on a very decent course. Challenging but not to ruin a day. Greens were quick and ran true. It was older than I thought and some very nice mature trees and made me feel like I was up north. Would play again during the week. Was told it jams up with leagues in afternoons and crowds up on the weekends.
Relaxed fun setting
We twilight golf here a lot and the course is enjoyable time after time. Not overbooked we never feel crowded. People are polite and friendly on the course and working. Rangers are knowledgable. Currently repairing a couple tee boxes but doesn't affect play. Just solid golf course not super fancy but great value and varied course.
Great Value
Greens in great conditions. Pace of play was quite good. Nice layout. Nothing over the top special yet a truly fun place to play and great value
Slow
Six hour round on 5/30/2020. Over booked, its an OK course if your fine starting a round after lunch and finishing at dawn.

Tee boxes need to worked on
I thought the course was amazing! But the tee boxes were really bad. That’s really the only complaint I have. I understand there was a lot of rain but the maintenance crew could spend a little more time on them to bring them back to life.
Rolling Meadows
The course was in good condition even despite all the rain. The course staff has done a great job with upgrades and continuous improvements. The manager came through the course a couple times to ensure pace of play was being met. The manager also was gracious enough to talk to us during a little backup. Overall our group was very happy with the experience on Memorial Day. Great job to the course!
Too noisy
Generally OK.
However, loan maintenance was in every courses.
It was noisy and ignoring players around them.

Rude staff, and horrible course management
The course has no etiquette, after dealing with horrible course management. I came back after my round to be given a hard time by the cart staff. I don’t recommend.

6 hour round!!!!!!
I have played many golf courses before that have been busy. I have played many beautiful golf courses that are long and challenging. I have never played a 6 hour round before until I played here. I have been in golf outings that were faster than yesterday. Won’t be back.

We apologize for the poor pace of play. We had a record number of golfers come out to our course yesterday given the weather and circumstances, 317 golfers played our course yesterday which did increase the average round time along with it being cart path only. We hope you can look past this rarity and visit us again in the future!
