Rolling Meadows Country Club

This course was not what I expected from when I pulled in. A run-of-the-mill public course aesthetic surprised me with a course including a great variety of holes, better than expected greens and a quick peaceful round. If you live about 30 minutes from here, giving this place a shot is not a bad idea. Not one I’d go to often, but a good impression left along!

It was a course close to home that never knew existed. Took day off work and it was very nice day on a very decent course. Challenging but not to ruin a day. Greens were quick and ran true. It was older than I thought and some very nice mature trees and made me feel like I was up north. Would play again during the week. Was told it jams up with leagues in afternoons and crowds up on the weekends.

We twilight golf here a lot and the course is enjoyable time after time. Not overbooked we never feel crowded. People are polite and friendly on the course and working. Rangers are knowledgable. Currently repairing a couple tee boxes but doesn't affect play. Just solid golf course not super fancy but great value and varied course.

Greens in great conditions. Pace of play was quite good. Nice layout. Nothing over the top special yet a truly fun place to play and great value

Six hour round on 5/30/2020. Over booked, its an OK course if your fine starting a round after lunch and finishing at dawn.

I thought the course was amazing! But the tee boxes were really bad. That’s really the only complaint I have. I understand there was a lot of rain but the maintenance crew could spend a little more time on them to bring them back to life.

The course was in good condition even despite all the rain. The course staff has done a great job with upgrades and continuous improvements. The manager came through the course a couple times to ensure pace of play was being met. The manager also was gracious enough to talk to us during a little backup. Overall our group was very happy with the experience on Memorial Day. Great job to the course!

Generally OK.

However, loan maintenance was in every courses.

It was noisy and ignoring players around them.

The course has no etiquette, after dealing with horrible course management. I came back after my round to be given a hard time by the cart staff. I don’t recommend.

I have played many golf courses before that have been busy. I have played many beautiful golf courses that are long and challenging. I have never played a 6 hour round before until I played here. I have been in golf outings that were faster than yesterday. Won’t be back.

Staff was awesome, I booked a single hot deal, got paired up with 3 other guys, course was booked solid yet our foursome moved well, conditions were great, would go back in a heartbeat. Oh, and I had a home emergency requiring me to leave after 9 even though I booked 18, I didn’t ask for or expect a rain check for my back nine, but they offered it. That’s world class customer service. Thank you Rolling Meadows!

Very friendly staff! Terrible course. Weeds everywhere, tree branches everywhere, mud, dead spots, tee boxes were in rough shape.

Everything was pretty much as expected considering the time of year. It’s a great course to play if you’re walking. And it’s a good course to play if you’re starting the season.

Had a good time playing at this course with my friends.

Very slow play, no ranger! When play backs up to the point that on one tee box you have 2 foursomes a threesome and a twosome waiting to tee off, then the course is not managing pace of play at all! We ended up not playing the last 2 holes as we did not have another hour to be able to finish!
