About
Located in Ypsilanti just off I-94 between Detroit Metro Airport and Ann Arbor is Eagle Crest Golf Club, operated by Eastern Michigan University and home to the college golf teams. Eagle Crest opened in 1987 and is a daily-fee course with a Marriott hotel located onsite. The elevated driving range and practice area overlooks Ford Lake and the course layout features several holes that play along its shores. The highlight is the signature par-5 16th hole that features a shallow, peninsula green on the lake. In 2012, EMU embarked on a 20-year master plan to the golf course that will elevate the stature of the course among NCAA host courses. Enhancements include tree management and more views of the lake, rebuilt greens and rerouted cart paths.

Good layout, nice views of Ford Lake
Really enjoyed playing 18 here. It was a Wednesday at 4:30, played a twosome behind several other twosomes, so pace-of-play was not an issue. Course was in better condition than I recall in past years. A lot of brush has been cleared bordering the lake, offering excellent water views. Many trees have been removed, making the course more playable. Very good, sloping greens. Several tee box choices for all skill levels. Great driving range and practice greens right by the clubhouse. Highly recommend!
Awesome Experience!
My first time playing Eagle Crest and it may be my new favorite course.
The course is beautiful and well maintained. The layout is challenging but fair.
The staff was friendly and informative.
A great overall experience and I will definitely be back many times to play here again!

Course was in great shape for May. Play at own pace. They allow enough time between groups. Will be back for sure.

Amazing Course.
New private club feel on weekends.
Unfortunately none of that matters and not worth the increased pricing if there is no one to monitor pace of play. :-(

Fun, but...
The course has a competitive layout and is rather fun, but the animal poop is overwhelming. I literally could not hit some shots without stepping in poop. I don’t like that because not only do I have to compete against the course but I also have to constantly dodge poop! Staff, please resolve this gross issue. Thanks
Pace is a problem
You are gonna be out there for 5.5 hours unless you tee off early. Place is awesome to play, it is very very slow.
