Located in Ypsilanti just off I-94 between Detroit Metro Airport and Ann Arbor is Eagle Crest Golf Club, operated by Eastern Michigan University and home to the college golf teams. Eagle Crest opened in 1987 and is a daily-fee course with a Marriott hotel located onsite. The elevated driving range and practice area overlooks Ford Lake and the course layout features several holes that play along its shores. The highlight is the signature par-5 16th hole that features a shallow, peninsula green on the lake. In 2012, EMU embarked on a 20-year master plan to the golf course that will elevate the stature of the course among NCAA host courses. Enhancements include tree management and more views of the lake, rebuilt greens and rerouted cart paths.

Good condition for early in season

In good condition considering weather and how early in the season we are. Shop attendant warned pace would be slower but 2.5 hour 9 was a bit ridiculous.

Beautiful but hard course

I'm a pretty inexperienced golfer but had a great time on the course. Course is easy to read with really fast greens that make the course rather challenging. With being right along Ford lake it does get a little windy but the view is well worth it. If you are brand new to the game the course may not be for you but the multiple tee boxes can accommodate all types of play styles. I got my first par ever here at the 18th whole of this course and definitely want to refine my skills to come back for more!

Starter, Super annoying.

1-9 in great shape, 10-18 need work, back half under renovations, snow and ice on path on par 3.

First NINE in amazing shape. It was first day so My expectations were low.

So i would do Nine and enjoy a great time, if you can digest an old annoying man as the starter.
