About
Sugar Creek Golf Course offers some of the best scenery of any course in the St. Louis area. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the course's elevated tees. The course opened in 1990 with several improvements made in the following years. The layout is a manageable length at just under 6,100 yards. It is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are also challenges in store for more advanced players. Water only comes into play on one hole but there are stands of trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course will generously reward accuracy and good strategy though it is not overly punishing if you are slightly errant. In addition to the course, Sugar Creek G.C. also boasts an expansive practice range with 35 hitting stations.

Amazing course, friendly staff
Sugar Creek Golf Course in Highridge, Missouri, is an absolute gem. The manicured greens and fairways create a picturesque backdrop for a round of golf. Hole number eight has such an elevated tee that you can see the STL downtown skyline/ Arch 25 miles away. The course layout offers a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment, catering to both seasoned golfers and those new to the game. The friendly and accommodating staff (Nick, Grant, Mike, Scott, Britney, and “lil” Grant) enhance the overall experience, making every visit a memorable one. From the well-maintained facilities to the breathtaking views, Sugar Creek Golf Course has holes with unique character that stand out as a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts. Also, I would have to say, compared to 10 years ago, this is the best turnaround and improved course that I’ve played in St. Louis with new golf carts, improved cart paths, better landscaped Fairways, tee boxes, and greens.

Great value
Great variety to the elevations of the holes and difficulty of shots. Great views from the holes. Spread out nicely. Tasty hotdogs. Nice friendly staff.
Need marshals, golfer hitting 2-3 balls off tee, looking for balls. What supposed to be3.5 hours ended 5 hours aggravated informed the clubhouse acted as if this was normal. F

Five hours
Nice golf course, pace of play sucks they need Marshalls. When I’m waiting at the Teebox over5 minutes while people are trying to find the balls and looking for balls in the woods instead of playing golf. It is ridiculous. You can do anything you want to make it a beautiful golf course but if you allowed that kind of play, close it down.

The course is very well kept
i really enjoyed this couse. Very cool views and holes. Greens were in excellent condition, as well as the fairways and tee boxes. Carts were good and clean as well. Will definitely come back.

Great Course
Played here 15 years ago and cant believe how improved the course is. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Great pace of play on a Sunday with perfect golf weather. Will definitely play here more often now. Back nine reminds me of the Ozarks.

Cart path
It was good course.thanks for repair cart path.cart path only play day,I have hard time because cart path only.
Neat course with potential
Great scenery and friendly service. Greens were fairly simple but in 4/5 condition. Not a walkable course. Fairways, tee boxes, and rough were in poor to average condition. Many narrow landing zones or average width fairway but little rough before out of bounds, so driver is often not the best choice off the tee even on longer holes.

Far better than expected.
I didn’t know what to expect playing this course for my first time. It was in fantastic condition, especially in mid October.
They even had a morning tournament and condition was still fantastic.
Inside the historic Club House looked newly renovated. Food was great. Staff was awesome. We felt welcomed and even fellow golfers were incredibly nice and polite.
My son and I both had a great round. We’ll be back soon.

First off, front desk staff named Scott was a very nice gentleman that was telling us details about the course, very polite. The course is a great condition and affordable for a fun round of golf. Have played multiple rounds on the course even brought out a few buddies and they loved the course. Scenic view around the golf course going up hills which includes a variety of holes. Lastly, the owner Sorkis was engaging with his staff and the players of the course. All around just a good guy.

Sugar Creek - Excellent Course
My buddy and I have been going to this course for a couple months and we enjoy so much that when we play with friends we say we have “Home Field Advantage.” We’ve met many staff members who have been welcoming and given us deals for coming so much. The course is very scenic in my opinion which is my main reason for having a liking towards it. This is definitely a course I am going to keep playing at because of the variety it has with the way the different holes are.

Great Course
The owners have done a fantastic job bringing this course back to life and is now one of the best in the St. Louis area. Greens and fairways are in great shape and they are actively redoing the cart paths. For the price you can’t beat it.
