About
Sugar Creek Golf Course offers some of the best scenery of any course in the St. Louis area. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the course's elevated tees. The course opened in 1990 with several improvements made in the following years. The layout is a manageable length at just under 6,100 yards. It is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are also challenges in store for more advanced players. Water only comes into play on one hole but there are stands of trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course will generously reward accuracy and good strategy though it is not overly punishing if you are slightly errant. In addition to the course, Sugar Creek G.C. also boasts an expansive practice range with 35 hitting stations.

Spectacular course
This was one of the most fun courses I have played all year. The greens were immaculate. The fairways were freshly cut and played amazing. The course layout is challenging but there are some very scenic holes that are just fun to play. The practice greens and driving range were in great shape (unfortunately the range was closed before my tee time)
Mike, inside the pro shop was very friendly and as I had showed up pretty early, he was able to get me out early, and I had no one in front or behind me. I was able to get a round done in a little over 3 hours. I will for sure be coming back and playing this course on a pretty regular basis at this point.
10/10 would recommend this course to anyone to play.
Worth the ride!
This is one of my favorite courses in the area just because there are holes that go in just about every direction. If you haven't been for a few years, the course has slowly been undergoing upgrades with the new ownership and it shows. Greens and fairways were in solid condition, some of the old cart paths that had been gravel have been replaced with nice pavement. Staff has always been friendly every time I go. Absolutely worth the ride!

Highly recommend
Course is spread out so it’s not fairway on top of fairway. Staff are amazing and nice. Kept on good condition. Definitely worth it for the price

Annual Alumni Tiurnamdnt
I have chaired an alumni golf event here in St. Louis for 33 years. We have been to multiple courses and changed for various reasons. But, we have found our home at Dugsr Crerk Golf Club. The management and staff were the most professional, courteous and helpful we have found. Throughout the planning process all the way to event day they were on top of things gave us suggestions to make our event even better. And treated us like family.
If you are planning a tourney or outing give Sugar Creek a call. I think you will be happy with your choice.

Fun round of golf
The course was in good shape overall some rough patches around the greens but still a good course. The friendliness of the staff puts the course above others. Mike at the front desk let us have a couple waters on the house on a hot day, which was greatly appreciated.

Give it a chance.
There’s been a lot of negative comments about this course, but I can tell the owners have really turned this course around. I told myself after the first time I played it 3 years ago I would never be back. I took a chance the other day and played it again.
The course is not perfect and it does have a quirky layout, but the greens were in great shape as were the fairways. I had a great time and look forward to playing it again.

Beautiful Course
This course is great for golfers of all levels. The amount of care and work the staff put into this course really shows. One of the most friendly staffs I have ever came across. Will absolutely be back. I would give my experience six stars out of five if I could!

WOW - Improved Bigtime!
The course has always been a fun layout with lots of dimension and very playable. But they have really improved the conditioning and have made it even more playable for average golfers like me.

Disrespect
After 9 holes no waiting as had tournament earlierso course wide open but when teed off on 10 someone playing it, when ready to tee on 11 waited 5 minutes and still weren't done, so finished my round. Totally lack of respect allowing someone to start on 10 not 1! Thought about joining won't be back!
