About
Although it is located just west of St. Louis, Innsbrook Resort feels much more secluded with its sprawling landscape of rolling hills covered with towering trees and more than 100 lakes. The golf course's scenic and carefully preserved landscape has even been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Carved from the hillsides, the course offers dramatic elevation changes as well as scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Trees line the fairways and there are tricky, uneven lies throughout. Both accuracy and proper club selection will be required. Of the many lakes on the resort's 8,000 acres, 12 come into play on the golf course along with 30 strategically placed bunkers. The course offers a fair amount of challenge but beginners won't feel as though they are out of their league.

Fun challenging course
Course is in vary good shape,even with repairs going on,beautiful course that is fun and challenging to play
A Challenging Course for a Rank Amateur
I play golf once a week when I can. Shooting in the low 100's, this course gives me all I can handle. I love playing it because it is beautiful and a good challenge at my level of play. We linked up with another twosome part way through the round because we were all standing around waiting. They invited us to join them and we did for four holes before electing to go on our own. We finished the round of 18 holes in 4 1/4 hours, even though it seemed quite slow at times.
Nice, quiet course
Pleasant experience all around. Due to its location, it’s somewhat secluded and quiet which is very nice. Course was in good, not great, shape. They were doing a bit of sod replacement in the fairway on a couple of holes. There are several holes where you take less than driver off the tee, but I felt it gives the course some character.

Had a great day with great weather. The course played well inspite of a number of repairs/improvements being made to the course.

One of the best courses in the area for the average golfer.
All recent & ongoing changes (new carts, new irrigation, repaved cart paths) will make the course lots nicer even though it is already one of the best values for the money. Staff is always very friendly & accommodatind.

They were working on irrigation and the conditions were not ideal
Nice value
The course is in pretty good shape and I play there alot of times because of the value for money. This week the course was a little tore up due to improvements and all the rain. Greens were still in good condition. I always recommend this course to others to play.
Good Shape for recent weather
Its been a harsh winter but the course was in great shape considering. It was very cold and windy, and course was soaked due to rain the day before. Didn't have many people on the course. They were doing irrigation on 3 holes I had to skip, but they let us play 3 others again to get 18 in.
Course was very wet, paths only. Temps started in 70’s, we’re in the high 40’s when I finished. Greens were good. Pleasant round of golf. The new carts were great!
Best kept secret in the midwest
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They were polite and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. The greens were in excellent condition for the region. To consider this a public course is quite an understatement. The attention to detail and friendliness of staff members made for an amazing round. The only thing missing from this incredible Midwestern golf course was the last 18 of 36 holes.
