Innsbrook Resort Golf Course & Clubhouse
About
Although it is located just west of St. Louis, Innsbrook Resort feels much more secluded with its sprawling landscape of rolling hills covered with towering trees and more than 100 lakes. The golf course's scenic and carefully preserved landscape has even been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Carved from the hillsides, the course offers dramatic elevation changes as well as scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Trees line the fairways and there are tricky, uneven lies throughout. Both accuracy and proper club selection will be required. Of the many lakes on the resort's 8,000 acres, 12 come into play on the golf course along with 30 strategically placed bunkers. The course offers a fair amount of challenge but beginners won't feel as though they are out of their league.

Fun
This course was fun to play and great value. Will play it again soon
Beautiful course
The course was well-maintained and beautiful, as always. Weather was perfect, pace of play was excellent, and we had coupons for greens fees. Couldn't have been better!
Unique course in great shape
Excellent shape, challenging, great greens. I have played this course over the last ten years and it always in great shape.
the fairways were in perfect condition
excellent course with enough trouble and woodline to make it challenging
Nice course with challenging holes.
Nice course in really good condition for this time of year.
We played on the Holiday weekend, but the course lacked a marshall, so the play was rather slow.
Course is in great shape
Even in the dog days of August the course and greens are in excellent condition. There were very few golfers on the course and we finished the round in less than 3 hours.
Course has beautiful terrain
The course is hilly, wooded, has great changes in elevation, and features lots of lakes. The greens are pristine and fast.
Finished 18 in less than two hours
Challenging and great for price
Love this course. Challenging, staff is friendly. Great experience.
SPACIOUS COURSE
This golf course is terrific. Well maintained, excellent service and the layout of the course is such that you are never hitting near another fairway. The scenery is beautiful.
Very Enjoyable
Played it earlier in the year, and it was in real nice shape. Even better this time. From the back tees it can be very challenging. The best part about this course, is there really aren't any houses that come into play if you do miss a shot. Greens were a little slower than I'm used to, but I still made some birdies... and that always makes it enjoyable.
Very slow play
I am disappointed with the course for the money we paid. Will probably not go back. Staff was not friendly, no marshall on course.
great place to play
if you get a chance u must play this course its in pristine Condition
Nice course, terrible pace of play
The course is nice. Well maintained, beautiful setting, lots of wildlife. The layout is interesting enough. If you keep the ball in play you should do ok. Greens were in fantastic shape. Par 3's are short and straightforward.
The staff was nice, especially the starters.
However, the pace of play was terrible. We waited on nearly every shot, and there were sometimes backups of two or three groups on a hole.
The pace of play is the only thing that keeps me from recommending this course to others.
6 par threes, 4 of them withen 15 yards differance.
I love the layout of the course and always well maintained. Last two outings very slow play. Took our threesome over 5 hours to play. Never saw a marshall or cart attendant all day.
Great course for the money
Found a special on golf now that allowed me to play for $15. Innsbrook has spectacular views, unique holes, and is flat out in great shape right now. It's as good as any course in Saint Louis right now. Definitely worth the drive.
tucked away but a very nice course to play
I enjoyed this course a lot, the course was in great shape.
Great course. Quiet. Slow pace of play.
Saturday, July day in the mid 70's. Pace of play took over 5hours and 30 minutes. No ranger around to help with pace of play. Every shot, every hole, ALL 18 holes we had to wait to hit. Tee times were schedule every 7 minutes and that created bottle necks ALL OVER THE COURSE. If this is the norm, we won't be back. The gentleman behind the counter to take our money was "short" with us and not very friendly, both on the phone when we talked and in person. Starter man was GREAT! Cart gal was there as needed. Just too bad the pace was SO SLOW! The Hamburger we purchased was cold.
While we're young....
Avoid if possible! As for the course, the tee boxes are in good shape. The fairways are pristine. The greens roll true. The sand bunkers were in good shape. The clubhouse serves great cheeseburgers (You will want to get two they're so good.). HOWEVER, the pace of play is horrible. There is a marshal at the first tee to coordinate the golfers who have checked in for play but they end their duties at that point. The back up on hole 4 (long par five with water on the left) can be as much as 4 groups. The problem is that the course allows too many golfers (tee times are only 6 minutes apart when they need to be 11 minutes.). Also, you have several "weekend only" golfers who play from the back and near back tees that should be " Playing if Forward" to speed up play and make this hard course more playable. Play this course only during the week when fewer golfers will be there. If not, plan for a 5 plus hour round!
this course was in gerat shape
Played late in day after 3pm only got in 13 holes very slow play 3hrs for 11 holes needarshall out to move people on.
Course is in great shape
Course was surprisingly crowded for a Wednesday. Not sure why they started us on back nine, maybe tournament later that day.
