Innsbrook Resort Golf Course & Clubhouse
About
Although it is located just west of St. Louis, Innsbrook Resort feels much more secluded with its sprawling landscape of rolling hills covered with towering trees and more than 100 lakes. The golf course's scenic and carefully preserved landscape has even been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Carved from the hillsides, the course offers dramatic elevation changes as well as scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Trees line the fairways and there are tricky, uneven lies throughout. Both accuracy and proper club selection will be required. Of the many lakes on the resort's 8,000 acres, 12 come into play on the golf course along with 30 strategically placed bunkers. The course offers a fair amount of challenge but beginners won't feel as though they are out of their league.

Good course at Golf Now prices.
At the Golf Now prices this course is a great deal. I played from the white tees which matches my skill level at a 19 handicap. There are two tee boxes behind the white and two in front. I would say the course would be very challenging from the tips, requiring well placed long tee shots. Many fairways are well guarded with trouble on both sides. Mid-day during the week the course is lightly played. Play picks up significantly each afternoon as leagues begin.
Great course, but....
I recently booked a tee time that seemed too good to be true and it was. Please be aware that if the price seems really good on a weekday afternoon / night, that you will probably be playing your round with a league. After 2+ hours and 4 holes I left the course disgusted. The league folks were some of the slowest players I have ever seen...each hole took about 20-25 minutes...UNACCEPTABLE!
The course is in great shape and staff is great, but it should be clearly noted when booking a tee time that you will be playing amongst a league and there is a potential for slow play. Had I known this I would NOT have booked this time.
OverBooking
If your going to book huge parties that is your business, but other golfers paid to golf here as well. So don't pressure other golfers to rush and get started just because you over booked.
great zoysia fairways and perfect greens. (we've had plenty of rain)
great time, great weather, misty and cool, lots of deer, rabbits, squirrels, friendly golfers and employees, is that 50 characters yet???????????????????????????????had to add, this 50 char min was irritating.
Great value. Great experience
Great value through GolfNow. I have played this course a few times over the years and have always had a good experience. Innsbrook is set in a wooded setting with lots of wildlife (we saw 5 deer while playing) and the layout challenges you to make shots. I played with my 18 year old son in less than 3 1/2 hours. The course is in good condition and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
A great experience. We will go back soon!
Great course for the price
Played this course twice this year and its worth the drive at an affordable price.
Very slow play
It was very busy, almost overbooked. We had a twosome walking then a twosome in a cart then a foursome in a cart get sent off in front of us (we were a twosome). The starter probably should have put us with the other twosome. It started raining and we did not finish 18. We teed off at 2:47 and did I not finish until 8:00.
Great scenery, Fun and challenging
Course was in great condition, and the greens wre pristine and fast.
Pretty good.
Course need some attention in certain spots but other that that it was in pretty good shape to me. Also with all the really slow groups in front of me the round took a little longer than I wanted it too but made for a fun day with friends.
Great experience
I loved the fact that booking online saved us quite a bit of $.
Cant be beat for the price I paid using golf now
Green are in great shape, course was still a little wet due to all the rain but overall it was in good shape.
nice course...play was way too slow
the course is fine but the play was way too slow...no marshall to monitor play...over 5 hour round!
Beautiful course
Great golf course, well taken care of ,friendly staff, would definitely recommend , will play again.
game will be tested. tight, shot placement is a must.
very nice track..ur game will be tested, very tight fairways.fun track.
Up keep
The greens are infested with other grasses making it to hard to read the greens, and the rough was US Open Length. But all in all
the course had a lot of character just needs some TLC.
Some really nice holes and excellent views.
I enjoy this course. And being out in the woods with lakes and everything, it is an amazing atmosphere.
Excellent shape
Excellent shape in the fairways, despite the rain. The greens were a little long, but they were true. Very enjoyable round.
innsbrook review
Definitely NOT a 4 star course as advertised. Has the potential but needs lots of maintenance. Has very nice layout & surroundings. Was ok to play once but not worth the drive
Course has good potential/Rudest staff I have ever encountered
The man at the front counter is one of the rudest, dismissive, unhappy people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. The course was in decent shape considering the time of year. They had recently aerrated the first four greens, so they were like playing on sand. The only reason I would reccommend this place is the course has great potential in the summertime once the grass is lush and the greens are in shape. The man at the front counter is one of the rudest, dismissive, unhappy people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. The other dowside was that the bar/snack area was closed once we made it to the turn. I would possibly return (in anticipation that the man at the front desk no longer worked there) to see what this course truly has to offer.
The course was nice but severely over booked.
The staff was rude. 5 groups including us had to wait to get a cart due to obvious over booking. We waited 15 to 20 minutes on every tee. There was a group of 10 in front of us trying to play as one group. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes and we left. Felt very cheated. $52 to play 9 holes - not priceless.
