I played this course a couple years ago. While it wasn’t in pristine condition then, it was a PGA level course compared to what it is now. Most of the course including tee boxes and greens looked like they hadn’t been mowed in over a week. The rough was very overgrown and may not have been mowed yet this year. All the sand traps have been left to go back to nature. Most had grass growing in them and the ones that didn’t haven’t been raked in some time. They resembled ignored cat litter boxes more than golf course bunkers. Almost all the greens had significant damage, dead spots and ant hills. This is the worst course conditions I’ve ever played on. If I had payed full price, I would have left after 9 holes and asked for a refund.
First of all the greens are in sad shape. Most have dead grass and cause putts to bounce and The fairways are also bare in many places and the bunkers are wet and make it like hitting off solid earth and soil with grass growing in them!!.
Sorry but it appears the management is milking the and spending for basic maintenance!

No complaints
It was early Spring in Michigan so of course conditions were average. I’m sure even the nicest courses are still in clean up mode. The course is nice and the staff was excellent. I would like to go back mid summer and see what it’s like.
Rainout
Played today, got to hole 9 and the storm came in. The only downside is there was no horns or anything to notify that play needs to be stopped.
Staff is so friendly and accommodating 😊
Everyone at the course is so friendly! My wife and I been coming here for years and they treat us like family! Old Oaks and Marsh are our home courses! You also can’t beat the price to play either of these courses. Marsh also had new carts!
Good Course Layout
The course has a really good layout. A good mixture of difficult but fair and a few easy holes to keep you in play. The Greens however were kinda in rough shape, but it is early in the season. I used the GolfNOW App and was able to get a really good discount to play at the time I wanted (11;53am). I would definitely recommend playing this course. I will be playing here again.
Nice!
This course has really come a long way! It's in very good shape and the pace of play was great. Played 18 holes in 3 hours.
Old oaks course
For a fall afternoon...couldn't beat the price, but it could use a little attention.
