Marsh Oaks at Oak Ridge Golf Club

played marsh oaks. green speeds are consistant and rebound well after being beat up by ball marks. there are a couple holes that you have to play for accuracy not length. only problem i have is when you reach the par 5 9th hole there is a gun shooting range right behind a prison. its hard to putt when someone is blasting a shotgun a 100 yards away. the sea gulls from the nearby waste dump brought me good luck on the par 3 11th my partner chipped in for birdie and i made a 10 footer for birdie. overall course is great and you cant control what is built around your course. ill be back!

It wasn't busy, mostly twosomes out in front of us.

Unfortunately, someone ahead of us thinks four hours is still the norm for two.

Surprisingly, plenty of staff around, even a pretty cart girl.

Greens were excellent. Course was in good shape.

No surprises here. It is in consistently good condition and for this time of year, it is manicured, green and leaves on the ground are a minimum! The staff is very friendly. I'll definitely play there again.

Course was wet, rained most of the time we played and the ranger came out just to ask us to stay off the fairways when possible. We did and enjoyed it despite the weather.

Course was in fantastic shape. The Marsh by far is one of the best 18 holes around!

Since it is Autumn, the leaves are falling. But, this course kept the course pretty leaf free and the grass was nice and green. Traps were nicely groomed too. Things were going very smooth finishing the front in 1 1/2 hours. We let the twosome behind us play through at the 10th. At the 16th. a foursome ahead of us began to slow things up. When the next twosome caught up to us they accused us of jumping in front of them and called the club house to complain about us. When the ranger approached us the twosome behind us that complained were two holes behind!! Look out for jerks like them!!

For the price...this is a great course to play and work on your game...great deals for their “hot price”

One can always count on that the course will be in pretty good condition. Pace of play is better than most and greens are fair. I'll play it again.

Way better than expected. Very well manicured course. Challenging, but not frustrating. We made very good time on holes 1-10, and then got behind the biggest joke of a league I've ever seen. 5 guys, I watched them tee off on 8 holes - not once did one drive over 150 yards. Was an absolutely grueling pace of play waiting on these jokers - wish the rangers were out and enforcing.

Other than that league - course was fantastic. I'll definitely be back.

The golf course was great, had a good layout and some difficult holes with all the hazards. But we started out in the club house, accidentally interrupting the two servers from there conversation between the two. I was going to order a couple beers and a bag of ice. She turns to me and in the snappiest voice imaginable, she says we don't serve bags of ice. I'm sorry but every golf course has a bag for your golf cart, but oh well, I would have got over it but they treated us like dirt. Managers need to retrain their staff on customer service. Very rude but I enjoyed the golf.

A fun course to play, with nice variety. Bunkers a little low on sand, but there aren't many. A few bare spots in very shady areas. Right on a freeway exit. 5 par 3's, 4 par 5's.

Old course is exactly that. Some fairway issues but not enough that you can't drop and play from better areas.Greens are great with the exception of way too many ball marks. That's on the golfers not the course. Cart paths have seen their better days along with yardage markers. Still a fair track but would not pay top dollar. Young cart guy seemed to be lost when I asked for direction to #1. He also was sitting on a cart at the barn when I finished checking out his Cell phone. Not so much as a how did it go or let me help you with your Bag. I have worked a few courses and there is always something for cart barn staff to do. Etiquette Folks!

This is a badly taken car of course. Weeds are everywhere, cart path is horrendous it's Literally like going off roading. Groundskeepers must be sleeping on the job because the greens and tee boxes are a joke. Divots everywhere. This course is laughable actually.

Very nice course and very nice workers . Kept up and clean

Would love to see Richmond forest on the list of golf courses

It has a little of everything . Always fun as long as the pace of play is good. Sometimes can be very slow, which is caused by over booking.
