Cape Royal Golf Club - Queen/King

I went out at 2:00 as a single and hooked up with another single. Played front nine in 2:15. Not bad….

Well, the back nine on “Queen” was overloaded at the turn. We had a nice member twosome of a husband and wife who cut in front of us on the tee and when approached, he said “tough luck” OK….

Got to the 14th hole and there was two foursomes (some weekly league play) and three twosomes on the same hole. The “league play” was involved in some crazy game that sent all the players all over the hole. Meanwhile, the sun is setting.

Called the pro shop and indicated that I paid $40.00 for 18 holes and will not make it before sundown.

They send cart guy out who said “nothing I can do about it.”

This facility is poorly operated and is in very marginal condition. Save your money and play somewhere else.

… but $10 for my 2 years old grandson is not so good.

Never before must pay for him.

Surprised at the good condition of the course given the recent hurricane. Staff deserve a lot of credit.

Course was in good shape. Good test but fairly short. Staff is great. Try it out.

First time playing in FL. Lots of water on the course, almost every hole on the Prince to Queen set up. Fun round, friendly staff, would come back again.

Many more hazards come into play if you play from the blue or black tee boxes. This is a fairly forgiving course but you must play some target golf and stay out of the water.
