Cape Royal Golf Club - Queen/King

Nice course. Very helpful and friendly staff. I didn't want to bring my clubs with on this trip so I rented clubs. Unfortunately I didn't look at what I was renting. I think because all the other rentals at other courses were great. These not so great. All hibrids, I never hit hibrids, so I used the driver, putter, and PW. I used my buddies clubs for in between shots. So clubs sucked in my opinion. I could have paid $45 for the better clubs or they could have just had better choice of clubs.

Course was nice, water everywhere. Challenging. Fairways were a mix of grass and weeds, so your ball sometimes still moves as your hitting it. Greens were nice. Fast. Fairways had a lot of roll. Overall not a horrible course.

Course is in poor condition in the areas that don’t really matter. As an example the tee boxes have little grass and many weeds. For the most part the course is just fine. I’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the course, and their hard work is paying off. With the draught, it's too early to see whether they solved their drainage issues, but the course was great today.

Played off-season so only $31 for 18 holes. Very friendly staff greeted us in parking lot, loaded our clubs and directed us to the first tee box. The starter was also very welcoming and let us go off earlier than our tee time. Course was in good shape, well marked and and in great shape for late May. As a 14 hdcp, I thought the course was a fun, moderate challenge.

Will definitely be back!

Had a 7:00 tee time. Got hooked up with one other player. So we got 18 in. 2:45 minutes

Water, water everywhere but you shouldn’t drink it or hit your ball into it!

The greens were well kept and hole placement is always in a good spot

Be ready to play over water. We were late due to wrong time rushed us. Greens were different pace. Tee boxes were overgrown

Great course with a lot of water and great scenery. Only downfall was there was no beverage cart. Had to get drinks on the turn. On days like today 90 and sunny, drinks are warm after 2 holes

This course needs a lot of work on both tees and fairways. They have a major weed problem. They need more yardage signs since they took out the gps system from the carts. The layout is terrible where water hazards come across the fairways on most of the par 4’s and forced to use mid irons off the tee. I think I used my driver twice the whole round. I would not recommend this course until they improve the grounds.
