Woods Fort Golf Course

Staff was extremely rude and condescending. We managed to get three holes in when it started to rain pretty hard. We called the clubhouse and were told we could get a rain check and when we went in to get the rain check it was only for a partial refund. The staff was rude and didn’t offer any explanation as to why we were given only a partial refund, very disappointing to say the least.

The course was in great condition. Worth the drive. Angie and Jason go out of their way to assist guests.

All I have to say is this course is gem. From Angie in the pro shop the course maintenance staff. Everyone I’ve had join me has said this place is great. Thank you.

Enjoyed the rolling hills, playability and shot making on this “not too distant” golf course. Angie in the pro shop was very nice and our group had a very good day at Woods Fort GC.

nothing starts your round better than getting a great hello...if your not from the Midwest you may not understand but these people treat you great!

You gotta hit em straight wherever you play so this course wont disappoint I liked it.

Great condition! Angie in the club house adds a spirit of friendliness that exist throughout the staff. You feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. The food in the club house is excellent with a very friendly staff. You need to play this golf course.

Course is in very good shape pace of play was good, they did change the holes lay out on the back 9 but not a problem. I would definitely play again.

The course was fine. Had the two women behind us who were constantly honking there horn trying to speed us up even though were waiting on group in front of us. Went in restaurant after round and had an hour wait for appetizers while being buzzed with flies inside . Very average to below average overall

I like this course a lot, it is well designed, few blind shots, it has great grass, and is well kept, trees are a minor problem, greens are in great shape, and only a few water obsacle We had fun all4

Everyone at the Clubhouse were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to be kind.

The Grounds Crew were outstanding. They turned off equipment when a golfer approached and waited until they moved on to continue work. Very polite!!!

Management let them know they were appreciated!

Beauty unknown by many, and it's right off the highway.! Loving the hidden treasure with many challenges. Great greens and fairways.

This place is absolutely outstanding! I just picked up golf again after a 10 year break and started searching for a decent course that is well maintained and moderately forgiving for beginners. I asked around the golf community and read through hundreds of reviews and I was shocked and literally over the moon to discover that the place that everyone was recommending and the place with the best reviews just so happened to be right in my own backyard, Troy, Missouri. The greens are pretty much flawless, fairways forgiving and perfect every time I’ve been there and the place is so clean, the clubhouse kids that work there are constantly going here and there on the course picking up trash or debris or fixing divots, etc. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable from what I’ve seen. There’s also a beautiful little chipping/putting green AND a nice driving range on site as well. I haven’t had the chance to try the restaurant yet but I’ve heard they’re fantastic. On top of ALL OF THAT the place is actually priced decent. I’ll most certainly be spending a lot of time at Woods Fort GC this summer. This place is an absolute hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and the next time you golf, GO HERE and you won’t regret it!

I took I-70 to Highway 40-61 North for a fast 14 miles to Hwy 47 West to Troy and one mile north on the the service

road. Easy to find! Great value for the money! One can see that Woods Fort Golf Course is a diamond in the

rough in Lincoln County! Much money has been invested in landscaping the fairways and greens and the golf carts

Are all leased and like new and never run out of juice on the rolling hills of Missouri! This million dollar property

Is so challenging, especially the sloping greens, that make this a professional course available to golfers of all ages!

Played on 5/26/20 and the course was understandably wet due to all the rain; however, the course drained well and the back nine fairways began to dry during our play. The greens were in great shape which made putting enjoyable. I play many golf courses in the St Charles/Lincoln County area and Woods Fort is one of the best maintained courses for affordable courses. Highly recommend this golf course!

I play here often. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The course is looking really good and the greens are challenging since they are playing faster now.

Course gives you a challenge. The greens were good. The pace of play was roughly 4 hours. Course should only get better with the warmer weather beginning.

Played Wood Fort on 04/23. What a treat. To be in such great shape this early in the season is amazing! Greens, Fairways,rough and even the bunkers were all in top notch condition.

I hadn't played Woods Fort in many, many years. It's a bit of a drive. I've got my whole group coming out this Sunday to experience it. Looking forward to it. Keep up the great work.

It was forecasted to be cold and i didnt find a foursome, so I decided to try somewhere new....and I am glad I did.

What a wonderful, nicely laid out course. Greens were accepting of approach shots, and a consistently "quick" pace
