Help
Strange layout. Short par 4 middle of the fairway rolls down the hill 50 yards into the forest somewhere. Very quirky with tight fairways. Condition is marginal, Greens are ok. Infrastructure like cart paths a bit rugged.. Needs a bit of help/
great environment
From the moment you get there George makes you feel like part of the family. Great atmosphere!
Kind of bummed out…
I like this course. It’s technical and narrow, so it’s not easy, but is typically fun. Last time I paid for two rounds round (Dec 3) was a Saturday morning and we showed up to our round without the club house being opened up. Stayed for over 30 min waiting for someone to come and it no one came. Other people came for their rounds as well and were also disappointed. I’ve called several times about this and haven’t been able to reach anyone. I like the course, but can’t believe they would sell rounds of golf and not open or accommodate the patrons. Pretty disappointing, really hope I can get my refund or I won’t be playing here again.
Very narrow
If u can't land in the fairway normally then plan on loosing a ton of balls the rough here is pretty much woods with 2 feet of leaves blow in. the open marsh aeras are very wet and mucky and houses are very close the signs warning you that you are responsible for anything u break on people's houses are or the course was new to me
Staff was great very friendly
Below Average Course with Very Below Average Staff
Cart broke down and we called the club house and they said they would bring another but never came after ~an hour so we walked. They also charged us twice and after calling twice, still haven’t got a refund. Might have came back for the price but definitely not the case anymore.
Don't go lol
This place is a mess. Just about every aspect of this course is clearly not taken care of. Only reason I chose this place because there was no where else near that had tee times for the time we were available. Thought that was weird and didn't think the course could've been rhat bad after reading so many terrible reviews. It's a shame because the place has so much potential ti be a great challenging course.
Vargo Golf
Vargo golf doing what Vargo Golf does, takes over courses and runs them into the ground, This was a nice course a few years ago, now it's a dump, Stay away, stay far far away
Course needs a lot of attention
At some point in time, this course must have been beautiful. Not now. Maybe the worse shape I’ve ever seen a course.
Not worth it
Tee boxes are terrible. Fairways have very little grass. Very tight and tree roots on all edges of every hole. Carts are old, slow and uncomfortable.
Yikes
This course has gone dramatically downhill. The fairways are in horrible condition, grass in the rough in bad need of cutting and sand traps hard as a rick and over grown with weeds. Cart paths are in dire need of repaving. Very disappointing as this was a beautiful course just a few years ago.
Terribly neglected course
This probably was a nice course in a nice housing development at one time. Now the houses are beautiful but the course has been neglected for years, and it shows it. See the image of fairway #6. This was one of the worst, but many were similar... totally unplayable. Everything else was also falling apart including the cart paths (full of holes with orange warning markers), the hazards... ponds and bunkers were overgrown and neglected. Even the golf carts seemed like originals from 10-20 yrs ago... cracked up and dirty with the loudest engines I have ever heard and clutches that screeched at every start-up. All the blue & white tee boxes were combined into one... no doubt to save maintenance. The course itself is jammed between rows of nice houses... very tight with ruined fairways that send the ball bouncing in all directions. Hardly a single lie was playable. I mean it was BAD. Not sure where they are spending the green fees, because it's not to maintain the course. We will never be back. So sorry.
