Bad course
Do not waste your money or time on this course. All the tee boxes are elevated and tore up real bad, there is no sand in the traps. And the ruff just off the fairway was so long you could not find your ball. Many ditches throughout the course. I don’t think they are maintaining this course at all. The only thing is noticed is a rezoning sign for them so maybe they are selling it to devolpers. This is a very bad course.
Cattails golf now
The address in golf now takes u to the wrong place
Nice course with tough greens
This was my second time playing course. I played once in October last year, This time Fairways were in perfect shape but the greens had lots of unfixed ball marks. For longer putts you have to fix about two to three ball marks as lots of golfers not fixing it or not fixing it properly. Greens are also very angulating and tough to read . Fun course but previous course knowledge helps as there are few blind shots and which sides of the greens to avoid .Will definitely play again. Thanks
Good price, very difficult
Had fun but I lost a few balls, don’t be ashamed to look in the reeds, you may not find your ball but you’ll at least find a makeup.
Cattails for sure
too many cattails. I'd like to be able to see the ball off the tee. I guess that is part of the design but I didn't like it.
Nice course
I would recommend playing this course to anybody. The course condition was very nice with the exception of the greens. The greens had a lot of unfixed ball marks that made it difficult to putt .
ZERO upkeep
Amazing location and views. You can see how nice this course COULD be but unfortunately whoever is running it doesn’t care about upkeep…
Challenging and fun to play but those green ball marks
It's an interesting layout, challenging but fun to play. If they can only fix the green ball marks, I know players should fix it but if they don't then they should, or else doing a great approach shot, only to be ruined with your putt not rolling straight because of all the ball marks.
Wasn't Bad, but Poor Conditions Due to Golfers with Bad Etiquette
Cattails is more of a target golf with forced carries and having to place your tee shots in a strategic position, otherwise, your next shot will be difficult or you'll be in the hazard from off the tee. But that said, if you're striking the ball well, it would be fun. The biggest issues I had with the course was the past golfers with poor etiquette. It made my heart sad when I had to fix 3 to 4 ball marks on every green just so I'll be able to putt it to the hole and replace other players' divots on the course. I simply cannot believe how poor the conditions were, but that's really not the fault of the course, but the players. Hard to believe. I pride myself in fixing my ball marks which likely means another GIR.
Cattails
This is a fun course that has some tricky shots that can easily hide your ball if you hit near the many cattails. The course is well kept. It’s worth playing once and then you’ll go back again. And now that construction on the roads are finished it’s a pretty easy drive from each direction.
Good course to practice
Cattalils is a good golf course with several holes which are challenging especially hole # 8,9,10. The two Par 5 holes (#3, #17)are relativly open and very playable for a PAR. The course is relatively well maintained and is good value.
Good bye
It is a shame that such a great course is Doomed to the Sprawl of man. Homes make more money that golf courses.
The course is still in good shape except some Tee boxes need help and the greens ,my goodness fix the ball marks. I could spend 30 minutes fixing one green.. Still worth maybe $30. I overpaid at $42.. Heck, just offer a few old guys a couple free rounds and they would be glad to come out and solve the problems.
