About
Mattawang Golf Club has changed very little since it first opened in 1960. The traditional layout has withstood the test of time as a challenging but playable layout. The course was designed to blend seamlessly into the natural setting while still testing your shot-making skills. You won’t find any man-made water hazards or artificial mounding on this golf course, instead you’ll be challenged by natural streams and ponds and mature evergreens. At first glance, the layout is seemingly wide open, but don’t let your guard down because the fairways are actually quite tight and many of them are strategically lined with trees. In keeping with the time it was built, the greens are smaller than those you would find on most modern golf courses and heavily protected by sand traps. Over the years, Mattawang Golf Club has built a reputation for having some of the well maintained putting surfaces in the area.

Great Layout
Good mix of challenges. Nice layout. Senior rate would have been comparable to other courses in the area. Not a fan of preparing because of constant change of weather. Staff very accommodating. It is definitely an area course in our rotation

Greens
How are the putting greens? Have they been aerated recently, if so are they difficult to putt on at the moment? Thanks.
James, the greens were aerated just over a week ago. The holes are filling in nicely and from my view, the ball is rolling as you would want and not bouncing. If easier please call to discuss. Thanks
exceptional staff (Luke and Ty)
Luke and Ty were exceptional. One of the guys in my 4some locked his keys in his car. of Course it was closing time. They waited patiently for the keys to be retrieved. there was not a sign of annoyance or inpatients.
How are the greens? Have they been aerated recently? If so how are they playing?

The Wang
Course in good condition. Needs ball washers at the tee box and water coolers at 3, 6, 12, 15 tee boxes.

A fun course
Not the hardest track but fun. Perfect course to take your father-in-law out on where if you’re not great you won’t be looking for lost balls all the time and you won’t end up hating each other after the round. Fun, pleasant golf.

Open layout perfect greens
Great open layout with tees for every level. Great for players looking to shoot low or simply find their ball. Immaculate greens. Unfortunately not the best kept secret but pace of play was okay especially for a beautiful weekend day.

TT Prices not as advertised
Booked reservation through Golf Now, hot deals which included a cart, however upon checking in at course was told that rate did not include cart and if I wanted a cart I had to pay an additional $20 which when I disputed was met with extreme rudeness by sales clerk who told me play or go home. Apparently this is the courses new policy but they have not communicated to Golf Now to correct which obviously creates customer ill will. Have played course for 20 years, love the course, first time I’ve ever encountered this kind of service(or lack there of)

Hot Deals are the property of Golf Now and NOT Mattawang GC. If the owner of the tee time did not include the cart your dispute is with them and their lack of accurate information or inability to communicate.

We have enjoyed! But one problem. When we reported to the clubhouse office, one man manager asked us to pay $20.00 / per person for the cart fee. We told that we paid to GolfNow (TeeOff) when we made reservation and showed our Confirmation email text which doesn't say anything about our green fee or cart fee paid. Fortunately a lady manager who recognized us said, "OK! Please go and play!" We did. A advice that the Confirmation email should indicate the cart fee paid. Thank you.
