About
Mattawang Golf Club has changed very little since it first opened in 1960. The traditional layout has withstood the test of time as a challenging but playable layout. The course was designed to blend seamlessly into the natural setting while still testing your shot-making skills. You won’t find any man-made water hazards or artificial mounding on this golf course, instead you’ll be challenged by natural streams and ponds and mature evergreens. At first glance, the layout is seemingly wide open, but don’t let your guard down because the fairways are actually quite tight and many of them are strategically lined with trees. In keeping with the time it was built, the greens are smaller than those you would find on most modern golf courses and heavily protected by sand traps. Over the years, Mattawang Golf Club has built a reputation for having some of the well maintained putting surfaces in the area.

We’ll maintained course
First time trying this course because I saw it had good reviews. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was honestly awesome. They have some nice greens and a cool layout. Would recommend to a friend.

6 Hour Round
Didn’t finish. Got through 15 holes in 4.5 hours. No ranger in sight, pace of play was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Paid way too much for 15 holes.

Here’s excellent
Green condition was excellent, and our team was very satisfied, making it an enjoyable round. However, perhaps because it was Saturday, the pace of play was a bit slow.

Solid Course for the Buck
Course was in great shape- fairways were tight, greens rolled nice, and tee boxes were in good shape as well. For the $$, it would be hard to find a better course. Would definitely come back again!

A Hidden Gem
I recommend this course. Walked the course and finished my 18 hole round in just under 4 hours. It was a fun course to play. The driving range, tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in good shape.

Decent course for the price
The course conditions were good. They especially take care of their greens which makes all the difference.

Nice Sunday
Had first tee time on Sunday 922. The course was in great shape. Greens were true and fast. Pin placement was nice.
Had a great time, finished in 3.5 hrs.
