About
Mattawang Golf Club has changed very little since it first opened in 1960. The traditional layout has withstood the test of time as a challenging but playable layout. The course was designed to blend seamlessly into the natural setting while still testing your shot-making skills. You won’t find any man-made water hazards or artificial mounding on this golf course, instead you’ll be challenged by natural streams and ponds and mature evergreens. At first glance, the layout is seemingly wide open, but don’t let your guard down because the fairways are actually quite tight and many of them are strategically lined with trees. In keeping with the time it was built, the greens are smaller than those you would find on most modern golf courses and heavily protected by sand traps. Over the years, Mattawang Golf Club has built a reputation for having some of the well maintained putting surfaces in the area.

Great course and experience!
Had a fantastic round on Sunday morning!
Course was in tremendous shape despite bad storms for prior 3 days.
Course is in immaculate condition, second to none of all the courses we play in our rotation. Only wish they had an earlier first tee time than 8:00. We like to get out early and beat the heat during the summer.
Sunday morning fun
Played early at734 . Pace of play was great. The greens were in great condition and true. The course was in great shape condition and pretty dry fairways, with no standing water due to overnight rains. Fun times with our walk up twosome of Pete and Rick. Thanks for a great round.
Go to course throughout the year
Course is well kept year round, not much foot traffic so pace of play is great and the price is excellent
Played on July 26
Course was in very good shape. Tee boxes were impeccable. Fairways green & soft. Greens gettable and rolling true. Traps well maintained. Incredible shape considering the weather we've had locally over the past few weeks.
My only negative feedback would be the lack of drinking water on the course.
Look foreard to playeng again soon.
Well maintained courses and friendly staffs
Course is in excellent condition. Not to many people play in a could-be-raining afternoon from weather forecast. We breeze through 18 holes in 2 and 1/2 hours.
Another Great Round
Mattawang is always in good shape and the staff is the friendliest of all the courses we play. We always feel at home at Mattawang
Last minute round
Booked a last minute game. Played with a friend for his birthday round. Overcast day but cool enough. Course is in decent shape.

We had a great day at Mattawang course was in great shape. The staff is super friendly, only thing that went wrong was the heavens opened up after 9 holes and we couldn’t complete our round. We’ll be there again next week!!
Quick pace - easy to walk - cart option too
Staff was super nice upon check in. Let us go ahead of a group with a tee time before us because they were not ready to play. We had tee time of 1139am on a Monday; course was being played by many groups, including what seemed to be some LPGA caddies & golfers. Pace was super fast … we finished front 9 in an hour and 15 minutes. Course itself has some well placed water hazards & sand traps which gives the course a bit more difficulty. Overall, not a “tough” course to play but certainly very enjoyable. Pace of play for a weekday was much better than Green Knoll 20 minutes north.
