About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Great staff
Love the staff, love the layout of the course, even love the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant! Greens are looking great as are the tee boxes. The pace could be improved upon. I really lose myself in a round that takes 5 hours to get through.
Velcro greens
Course was in nice shape for this time of year. As far as the greens go SLOW AND SLOWER. Putting was a joke., when you had to put a 6 footer like a 20 footer.
Still early
Greens not quite ready yet, but should be good in a couple weeks.
Slow
Knowing it is still Spring golf. But that being said,the greens are the one of the slowest ( Non ariated)we ever played on.
Difficult but fair course.
This is a George Fazio course built in the early 1960's. Very challenging but not torturous. Fairways, greens bunkers and tee boxes all were in great shape. The one draw back to this course that in the summer the green head flies and the other insects will eat you alive. They spray almost everyday to keep the bugs away. If you go in the summer take plenty of bug spray and consider wearing long sleeve shirt and long pants no matter what the temperature is. This is a shame because the course is a beautiful course and fun to play. Also because this is a county course the restaurant is staffed by the vo-tech students and they do a great job. If you never played this course it is well worth a visit.
Pace of play and the ranger
The ranger was seen driving through the course all day. The group in front of our group repeatedly parked their carts in the front of the green in stead of next to the green. If the ranger had sat and watched one hole he could have told the group to park next to the green. That would have speed up play. Instead we had to watch the group on every hole walk toward us to get in their carts
Great value
Really well run. Great value for the money. Restaurant is very good. Staff very friendly.
