Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Tee Boxes or Rough????
MOW THE DARN TEE BOXES!!!
I get that sometimes it’s necessary in hot weather to keep the grass a little long, but when a 2 1/2” tee barely lifts the ball above the grass on the tee box, that’s just ridiculous! While you’re at it, I absolutely love when the blues get moved all the way back, however, before you can move them back, the overhanging trees need to be trimmed to a reasonable/fair height! On two holes the tree branches were so low I had to hit a mid-iron low Stinger in order to get under them.
No cart beverage service, pushy Starter, 200 yard Iron ONLY driving range.

Don’t Recommend, won’t play this course again
Very nice public course
Greatly enjoyed the course. The layout is really nice and the course is very green right now. The pace of play was slow for the front nine but picked up on the back nine when the people playing 9 holes completed their round.
The only real concern was the green head flies. They were vicious. Bring bug spray and after bite with you to play this course.
Their mowers must be broken
Bring extra balls and maybe a machete, the rough is nearly a foot deep in places just 5 yards off the fairway. Greens are in good shape and fairways aren’t bad, but rough is absurd tee boxes are trash. Amenities are non-existent. Literally no place to even fill a water bottle let alone buy a beer.
Mixed Review
The course was a nice layout and maintained well. The bugs were out like crazy. I was getting bitten from start to finish. Overall, tho, I enjoyed my experience
Very slow play
The course needed a good cut from the tees thru the greens. We played behind the morning men’s group and it was beyond slow that we quit after 15 holes. It is a low end public golf course.
Very nice course
We were met by a friendly starter. Paid our fees to friendly staff. They even had a visor for $7 (I forgot mind). We were paired with a nice couple and got to go out ahead of schedule. The cause fairways were in great shape. Rough areas are a bit high so try to be in the fairway. Tee boxes are also in good shape but grass there is a bit high also so it was a little tricky setting your tee. Overall the course is Great. We’ve been before and will go again.
Good value.
Good value. Course is a bit torn up. Greens on the back nine were in very good condition. I didn’t particularly like the layout, long par 3s and long par 4s. One par 3 is 200 yards with hazard and water angled across covering 80% on a direct shot. Basically drop on the green from 200 or aim or hit short or right of the green. Not for me.
No amenities after 2PM
Course is absolutely beautiful but it’s unacceptable to not offer any food, beverages, or amenities after 2PM. Bring some if you’re planning on playing after 2PM
