About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Hidden Gem
Course was enjoyable to play. Greens were in excellent condition, however 3 of them were not available due to repair. Sand in traps were excellent. Grass length in some tee boxes were too long., Cart paths were excellent. Good pace of play.
Although I have lived in SJ all my life, I did not know course existed. Now that I have played it, I will be back.
Very Disappointing
Yea boxes were fine. The traps weren’t cared for and had no rakes. We played 9 holes. That’s all we would have done even if we payed for 18. 2 out of the 9 holes the greens were closed. We waited just about for every shot. The Starter had the perfect attitude if you don’t ever want people coming back. The most rediqulous thing was the score card didn’t go with the course. I played here 2 years ago and it was a quality course. We won’t be back. But I really don’t think they care. Good Luck!
Aerated and temporary greens
No mention of aeration or temp greens either when booking or when signing in.
Ouch!
They were air raiding the greens the day I played. Pesticide was applied the day before.. 2" of rain was coming soon after I played so it was the right time to do it, but it was still a bummer. There were 3 temporary greens. It was 3/31 so they get a I day leeway. The rough was spotty with bare spots and the golf cart felt like it had 2 governors on it....This course is a tremendous layout and it's a shame how bad it has gotten under ocean county's ownership..........Bill C.
Early
Course was in good shape for early in season. Upgrades are being worked on and should be improvements in season
Needs complete makeover.
This golf course needs a complete upgrade on every hole. This George Fazio layout is outstanding and challenging but course conditions are terrible on each and every hole. This course can be an extremely fine golf country club if needed upgrades are made..
1st round 2021 season
Perfect course for late winter round. Temporary greens on a few holes. New greens being prepped for install. Nice future golf destination.
