Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis

About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Great Conditions
Fairways, greens all in great condition. Course is a lot of fun with some great holes that make it fun and challenging
Atlantis
The play was so slow many groups just quit not paste well at all and repairing the grounds while people are playing should’ve been discounted in the price or informed of the ground repairs before booking
Course for the walking dead AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This course is catered towards an old crowd that discourages any fun for anyone of middle age or new players. The older crowd will play right up on you like they own the course and If your not over the age of 60 the ranger will continually come to your group and tell you to “increase play” while old people wait behind you even, meanwhile the group ahead of you is still on the green. The drink cart is nowhere to be found and the course offers no food at the turn unless you order ahead for a hotdog which seems like you could simply have them ready like all the other courses around. They do not offer hand made drinks only canned garbage. I would suggest anyone looking to enjoy a golf outing with friends to AVOID THIS COURSE AT ALL COSTS. Over priced , bad staff, no food, bad drinks. Pay the extra money to go to LBI national or pay less money to go to Ocean acres for a better time!

The course conditions were expected for south Jersey end of summer early fall. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Tee boxes were almost “temporary tee box condition.
The starter was great. Friendly and welcoming. The woman checking in golfers and collecting payment didn’t seem too happy to be there. 1 hour 50 minutes wrapping up the 7th hole the bearded gentleman ranger approached our foursome aggressively telling us to pick up the pace. He then proceeded to the greens and watched us. Next hole he drove by again accompanied by a car marked with a security logo. Definitely removed some of the relaxed outing feels. We finished 18 in 4 hours and 20 minutes wrapping
It's Getting Worse
Terrible course conditions. Crappy players abound and ruin your day out. Ranger not doing his job. It's cheap, but if you are visiting, find something else.
Only the front 9 was open because they were aerating so the front 9 had to be played twice which was unknown when I booked the round.. The fairways were not in good shape because of the aeration.
