Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

The price is right
$21. For that price this course is a gem.
Nice round of golf
We had a nice day at Mays Landing. Let us off as a twosome with no problems at all. Greens were great, fairways were great, tee boxes were great. The rough is coming along. When they repair the cart paths the rough will become even better. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back.
Good course
Nice change from what it use to be.,
Could only play back 9 - twice
Management should have the courtesy to notify Golfnow if certain areas are closed / cart paths only / aerification taken place- etc.
Great value
Staff very friendly and attentive. Good valve for the money. No wait what so ever. Will be back!
Crabgrass Blues
Heard that Mays Landing was sold and new ownership will take over, could be a good thing, otherwise stay away unless you get a deal, fairways were mostly void of good grass, seemed as though watering was not a process used here, many dead and bare spots and crabgrass everywhere, what happened to maintenance?, greens and tees were recently aerated and uneven and bumpy.
Overall staff was great but course was only worth what I paid, will not come back.
The course has Good people and greens
Good greens, fun course.nice practice area. Fairways are shot out. But the greens are nice and that will bring us back.
Good course
Very friendly people, and the course is not too difficult
good $ value, course conditions ok, very slow pace of play
Good value deal through golfnow, very friendly staff except desk staff. No personality at all. Course was a little dry in certain spots, greens were excellent and challenging. Pace of play brutally slow, picked up on back 9. Food & beverage service on par.
Horrible
Don't waste your time, not worth the money. Not maintained at all,
what a joke.
Mays Landing Country Club
Great track with superb greens and cool layout. Both wooded and wide open shots are employed here.
Grounds crew lack ediquitte, overall worth $27.00
The grounds crew walked on two greens as we were putting. At one point the grounds crew person walked right in both players line as he was smoking his cigarette. I have never seen anything like it.
Overall we only paid $27 per golfer and that included cart so I can't complain.
Slow and Unacceptable
Course was in great shape! A 4 hour 45 minute round with a 1:40 tee time that became a 2:00 tee time. The starter, Ronnie, was such a nice guy, but he had to do what he had to do. He had to let a fivesome out in the tee time before ours, but was told they were only playing front nine, but they were so bad, 9 was like an 18. Next our tee time was pushed back because the manager's daddy and his 3some wanted to play, so we had to play behind them. We pay, they don't, and we have to follow them, manager needs to go back to management classes. Plus her dad and his friends should be bowling. Not going back, unless the course is taken over by new management. Shame Shame.
Good course
Course is undergoing some renovation to some holes. It was in good shape for the winter time. Greens need some attention alot of bad areas and repairs that were being done to them. I think once the growing season hits the course will be in better condition.
Played here on business
Was in Atlantic City for business and wanted to play 18 (and not break the bank). Found a great deal on golfnow. Staff is super friendly. Course is mostly flat and a lot of fairway bunkers. Greens were decent but a lot of the fairways needed help. Overall, I would recommend if your not looking to spend much.
greens are in good shape
a good course for the price. the rough was not consistent but the fairways were decent.
Fairways and greens in great condition
Played 9/22. Course is in great shape. Nice layout with some very challenging holes. Recommend this course to anyone in its current condition. Staff is friendly too.
