Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

Course condition
This course is always great. The problem I had
was the cold weather which made me too stiff to
play well. The forecast is not the fault of the
course. I will golf here st every opportunity.
Great course
I love the course and the greens were in excellent condition. The fairway was in great shape as well. It played really slow but I won't hold that against the golf course because it was the first warm day of the year so far. I still had a great time and I will be back very soon
Nice Greens
The new owner of this course is working hard to bring the best conditions to the public. I have witnessed improvement in conditions and the facility overall. I will also add that the greens were the best in the area during the off season. Give the owner a couple of seasons and this course will be highly sought after.
Nice layout
Nice layout, not overly wide open nor overly tight.
Fun course to play. Still in winter conditions. Should be find when in season.
Bad weather, great time anyway
Staff pulled the cart directly up to my car and loaded m clubs....also cleaned them after our round. we were the only group on the course for majority of our round. Place will be gorgeous once the weather is nicer. would play again. Greens were small and pretty challenging.
Course is in good shape for this time of he year !!
Undulating Greens
Mays Landing remains a fun place to play. Greens challenge your skill to read the subtle variations at hand. Course was in decent condition for early March. I need to update my GPS, as a couple holes were not close to accurate yardage. The layout changes over the last couple years make 17 and 18 a true test in a match. After play concludes, the Restaurant and Bar are up to the task. Clean and updated, with nice draft selections and friendly faces.
Great experience
Great time...for early March, the course was in great shape, and it was an all around good experience. We will return
For Winter golf ok
Greens were good for this time of year , but fairways were in rough shape / no rough just sand /dirt and roots . Had good golf now price prob will not return .
Better than expected..and better than before....
I liked this course the last time I visited in the spring. It's progressively getting better. I was shocked by the nice course conditions this time of year. The staff was super friendly, and helpful. I will be coming here more frequently, and plan to play when the greenery is peak. For a February day in the upper 60's, it was busy (as expected), but the pace of play was terrific. Smiles all around..no complaints of any kind. The greens are in great shape, and long putts can be made frequently. As with most NJ greens, there isn't much break....you can putt through what little breaks there are. If not sure...putt straight with authority.
Had a great time as usual...and you can never beat the price...
Great for Couples
This course is close to Atlantic City and is a great way to escape the casinos for the day. The red tee boxes have a fair advantage over the white which make it a great course for a competitive couple!!! Lots of variety in the various holes with water, sand traps, doglegs, etc. Cant beat the Golf Now price. We''lol be back!
Good friends
Great day, beautiful weather for Nov 18 th, and course was in great shape for four retired buddies !
Target Golf
Nice course. In good condition. Sand traps could use some work. More target type golf. No need to grip and rip on all holes. Somewhat tight fairways with houses along some of them. Had a good time playing. Recommend: Yes
Excellent value
Greens in great shape. Rolled ball in fairways. Rocks & roots in woods. Traps untamed. Corse well cleaned of leaves. Overall - loved the experience!
