Nice course, lots of elevation changes
Course was in good shape. Two practice greens were nice. Course was pretty full and it took 4:20 to play a round. The group in front of us slowed us down a little. Staff was friendly and it was a nice day on the course.
What Happened?
Played on 7/4 and the course was in great shape. Today, not so much. Tee boxes had issues, there were bare spots throughout the fairways and the traps were rock hard. I can only hope this was because of the rain and the following hear wave because this had become one of my favorite courses in the area.
Fairways and greens needs attention
Dry spots everywhere no grass very disappointing I always loved playing there not this time
Disappointed
Have played course dozens of times. The last couple of years with new ownership showed vast improvement. Last year the course was in amazing shape. Staff was very friendly. However, the course conditions were not good. Many fairways burnt out as well as a few tee boxes. Greens were in very good shape, but the rest of the course was not. For the price of $79 for an afternoon round, it was very disappointing.
Fun course- challenging design with use of hills
Of course on Sundays, the pace was slow and you find yourself waiting between holes, but the course is in good shape and the design is fun for a weekend golfer.
Always A Fun Play
The Fairways had some brown spots. The greens were in excellent condition. Tea boxes were in good shape. It’s always a fun play. One of the few places in South Jersey with elevation change.
Not as nice as last few times
Took friends, for their first time, and was a bit disappointed. They had some burnt out Fairways the greens were not in as good of shape as usual, and there were hundreds of bees in some of the fairways. It’s usually worth the ride (50 minutes) but not this time
Nice course in good condition-
Nice course and we enjoy playing here. Maybe the only downside is there can be a wait in between holes.
Good Condition
The course is in really good condition. The greens are really fast. Not a fan of the redo on the practice area, you can't really hit anything off a tee anymore.
Great course
The course was in excellent condition and I throughly enjoyed playing there!
Horrible Starter
Starter pit my group out minimally 30 minutes prior to my arrival and so was 20 minutes early for an 11:20 round. The next group was not scheduled to start for 30 minutes. Starter said “ You can play solo? Seriously? The group ahead of me took 24 minutes to complete a par 5? No thabks. On home #1. I left and I’ll never play Golden Pheasant again.
