2nd review
I left a review a few days ago on this course, I forgot to include that I was charged for the cart even though it was stated in the booking “cart included” when I brought this up to the pro shop they responded with “well we have to charge you for the cart anyways”
Great condition
Course was in great condition considering time of year and heavy rain overnight. Greens were great and rolling true fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Looking forward to returning soon in season. Keep up the great work!
Great place to play
For very early in the season everything was great and the staff are the best. Always friendly
Very well maintained course. Everything was in real good shape.
February golf!
Greens were generally in great shape and most were rolling nicely. Tee boxes in good shape.
We got off the tee at 9:10 and finished 18 at 12:30.
That gave us extra time to have a relaxing lunch & drinks at the friendly upstairs spot.
Horrible pin placements
Pins were set for a Saturday Super intendant revenge tournament and they must’ve left all the pins in the same place because it was ridiculous.
Sunday placements at the masters??
Fun time playing
Course was in nice shape with all the lack of rain and the water use state requirements.
Ground was hard and greens were fast.
Hole placement was tough on a Sunday.
Tee off was on time 12:15 and we finished as it got dark about 4:30 for last putt.
Pine placements were out of control. There was a tournament there on Saturday we played Sunday. It was ridiculous.
Sundays are supposed to be fun. Shouldn’t we have pin placements that are that tough. Two of the guys in our foursome are newer golfers, and placements like that will drive them away from the game.
Slow day
Half hour delay when I first got there
Waited on every hole, sometimes twice on a hole
Par three eighth we were the third foursome waiting
Time on the tee was over twenty minutes
Different and Challenging
Very well kept course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are perfect, even for this time of year (October). Bunkers need some sand, they are basically dirt holes. This course is very hilly with a lot of terrain changes. I would recommend taking a cart. Many blind shots, including tees shots and approach shots. Not a long course but many doglegs and blind shots. Would recommend and will play again
Slow round
Already 35 minutes behind at my 12:00 tee time
Waited on every hole, sometimes just to tee off but also had to wait in the fairway multiple times
Eighth hole we were the third foursome waiting
Nice course but it’s like being at a shooting range
Third time playing (because it’s an hour ride) but always enjoy the course
