Golfer Reviews
Carts in by 7:00 - full price scam
I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. A friend and I played this past Friday. 4:30 tee time. Had full expectations not to get all 18 in with the earlier sunsets. But hoped for 12-14 holes. The course was very backed up, we paused at just about every hole. As we attempted to tee off on 10, at 6:45pm, the ranger drives up and says that carts have to be in 15 min. Suggests we play 1,2 and 3 again so we could walk it. We waste 5 more min driving back to 1 only to see that those holes are full. So we drive back, waste another 5 min and we proceeded to play 10. And then in the middle of 11 we are told we must return our carts. I’m not a confrontational person, but I do make a comment that we weren’t told this upon purchasing our tee times. The ranger said “I only work here”- in an extremely rude manner. . At a minimum they could have mentioned this at the pro shop. We would have purchased 9 holes, instead of 18 and saved the money. The icing on the cake was the cart died on the ride in and we had to leave it on the side of 12 and walk the rest. All while we were watching others enjoy the course with at least 30 min of playtime left. It certainly wasn’t my best experience. And with a little bit of staff training it could have been completely alleviated.
Tricky greens
Enjoyed the round playing with some locals who guided me on how to play each hole. The greens were very tricky. I missed a lot of short putts, but overall I enjoyed the challenges. Hoping to play the course on my next visit.
Slowwwww
The course is in good condition for the play it gets. But my lord is it slow. They need to space out tee times more. The waiting is exhausting.
Always in great shape
Great course, greens a bit slow but in excellent shape
Pennsauken CC won’t disappoint
Considering the tough conditions this summer, the reasonable rates (I’m sure the course gets a lot of play) and the sad fact many golfers don’t know how to or don’t care to fix their divots and ball marks… the course is in really great shape! People are always friendly. Many need to brush up on basic golf etiquette.
2nd time playing here and 2nd time golf cart dies on us. ALSO you should make sure all golfers know how to fix it a divot before golfing its ridiculous how many divots I fixed on the greens today
Always playable
The course is always in very good condition. Public course is well taken care of. Shorter course and not very challenging. Great value for the area,m.
Top notch Municipal course
Cudos to Pennsauken twsp and their course management, this is a truly worthy course that deserves to be recognized. They get an absurd amount of public play at an affordable price and they keep the course conditions almost private course like. While some of the holes are short, hey we are lucky in this area its not overpriced housing development, all of the holes are challenging and interesting. Aside from the traffic noise from a very busy road running through the course it is well worth the effort to play it. You will not be disappointed.
